star trek s1 ep25: the devil in the dark best bits

1) Scotty having to diy a machine part out of household items and Jim knowing how to appeal to his particular way of engineering

2) Spock giving Jim the puppy eyes to let him save the new animal they found that's killing people but seems to be an endangered species

3) Jim changing his mind and doing a 180, deciding that he'll risk his life for Spock to keep his animal friend and Spock going "but not like that!!1!"

4) Jim bringing in Bones to cure Spock's wounded animal friend who is actually mineral-based and they know absolutely nothing about but, in Jim's mind, Bones can do anything

5) turns out, Bones CAN do anything

6) mandatory iconic spirk flirting time in the bridge at the end of the mission

last night I watched The Voyage Home and... life-changing is the least I can say to describe it. seeing Spock with whales lighted up something in me, it was so beautiful. I got emotional while drawing, and now while writing, this. many great moments to draw from this movie, but I wanted to make emphasis on this today. I love you so much Spock.
