change notes:

-no more blonde. cursed. go back to dark hair

-shave that boy down

-brow filler bc why were his brows so short in rebirth??

-made his mouth less wide. probably the most bothersome part of rebirth’s design

-made eyes more hazel, less saturated

-longer, pointier nose!!

-some of his Texture got smoothed out in the editing process but I think he still looks like 35 so it’s fine

-my preferred pendant design

-LOW CUT TANK TOP!!

-took those sleeves off so the (other) guns can come out

ngl when I was drawing this, I kept thinking about that line from Rose in Now We’re Only Falling Apart where she’s like “we’re not creating life from nothing… we’re taking life and leaving nothing behind.” and I was like, Oh girl. Barret would relate to you so hard having thought nothing of the Mako Reactors at first. They would both feel so guilty about everything

you know what im gonna live my truth and speak on something that bothers me about the FFVII rebirth continuity… and I’ve never seen anybody address this before…

they fucked up Dyne’s design.

OG Dyne has a low cut, tight-fitting tank top, both arms exposed, a slutty little waist, ass, and cunty purple hair (and before you say “it’s supposed to be black,” stfu. that’s purple).

Rebirth Dyne has a straight Chris Pratt build with a baggier shirt, sleeves, and his legs only take up 2/3s of his body rather than 3/4s. And on top of that, they made him a dirty blonde.

If you don’t believe me, just compare:

conclusion: we can’t have shit in this house. square enix needs to answer for their crimes
