[Dan: We’re gonna be learnin’ about Spawning Grounds today! 

Ashe: Every map has its quirks! Spawning Grounds is pretty basic, with only a few obstacles to watch out for. There are grates that you can’t swim on, platforms to climb up, and this: the perch! It’s easy to forget about the perch, but it’s usually a safe spot on the map. It also offers a quick path to the docks area, and allows you to get behind bosses (like this Steel Eel) without putting yourself in danger.]

Beginner Tips is a new series of tips created by Dan (@roveradi) and the rest of our team! These tips are aimed at beginners, particularly people who don’t know the mode well, and we seek to provide help with the basics of the maps, modes, bosses, and weapons! There won’t be any advanced technique in these tips, so experienced players may find them a bit repetitive or common sensical, but we were all overwhelmed beginners once!
