Looking for a Job

The next morning came, I prepared the usual, but this time I would look for a job. I looked around the city for jobs, each time I thought I found the right place, they refused to let me work there so out of hope, I sat down on a bench wiping my sweat away, but then the little strange creature walked to a person and guess what, they game me a job, I just had to hang up posters so it should be easy, so I worked the whole shift until I the guy came back and told me I had made all of them wrong, and I got fired. Luckily I soon after found another job it was just delivering mai, so I went around and delivered the mail matching the symbols but then I mistook a sign of a mail delivery area and got attacked by a giant lizard, definitely not doing that again. Later on I found a job at a factory, it was easy and simple, which is when I met with an old man, we talked for a bit until he told me his story, when he was way younger he was drafted to go out to war, everyone was celebrating the army leaving to fight, everything seemed golden, several days passed, endlessly walking into battle, then when it was all over he was the only one left alive, with a leg missing he went back to his town just to see it in ruins. After we finished working, we met up somewhere with a giant kind of sun, it was beautiful, sadly this will be my last entry it was fun talking about my adventures but now I have to focus on getting money for my family, I hope you can all make it too, and I hope my blog helped you, goodbye everyone.

Looking for Food

This morning I awoke to the strange creature waking me up, I got ready and went grocery shopping. I walked around the city with a map not to get lost, but that didn’t really work out since I still got lost. Luckily, I bumped into a girl who helped me go where I needed to go, I told her where I needed to go by pointing at the spot in my map. She led me to a flying boat thing where I punched out a ticket, she gave me and we boarded together, we introduced each other with our ID, she told me a tragic story about her past, but I think she prefers it if I didn’t share it. We say our goodbyes and I go back to looking for food,  I got to the marketplace, but the food looks so weird, I didn’t know what was bread, then a little boy walked up to me to get a weird mutated looking strawberry, his father following behind, I asked them where the bread was by pointing at a bread drawing I made, he gave me a weird tentacle like thing, they then give me a basket and introduce me to a bunch of weird food, I tasted some and its actually good, lets just hope it isn’t radioactive though. The son and father lead me to some boats to bring me to their home, the son showed me a pot, suddenly a small octopus like tentacle comes out of it, the same one plaguing my hometown, thank goodness it was just a cute cat like thing’s tail. When I showed the father a picture of the tentacle, he told me his story on how his hometown was terrorized by giants, I won’t go further in detail for privacy reason. They brought me to their home, and I had a blast eating brand new food that was delicious, ill update you guys tomorrow.

A New Home

A lot happened since the last post, first, that boat ride was so long, I was just thinking of my family the whole time looking at our family photo. When we finally arrived, everything was strange yet bright, but it was hard to communicate with the people at the entrance, we didn’t speak the same language, so it was complicated to understand what he was trying to tell me so I drew images so they could understand me which helped a lot. Once I finally could get through, they made me go on this balloon thing that transported me to where I needed to be, problem is I didn’t know where to go. Walking around and looking at my surroundings, I saw how weird this place is, little creatures everywhere with every person they are with and the clock towers looked completely different from the ones we had back at home, but I kept on walking and before I knew it, I was lost in this bizarre immense city. While I was trying to figure out where I was, a kind man came up to me to help me, since we didn’t speak the same language, I drew a bed in my book, the man understood I needed somewhere to sleep and showed me the way to it, I couldn’t thank him enough. Once I entered the place, I got my room, it was small but cozy, but I didn’t know where the bed was. I explored some more, just more weird things, then suddenly a strange creature popped out of a pot type thing I opened it ran into the attic, I took a weapon a followed it. It led me to my bed, exactly what I needed, I’m currently in my room writing this, ill go to bed now, ill update you guys again tomorrow night.

Leaving Home

In the morning, I had to pack up to leave, I put a family photo in my suitcase, my wife holding my hand as I close the suitcase. I then saw my daughter come in for breakfast, we all ate knowing this would be our last meal together for a while. We got ready to leave, I held my daughter’s hand, walking out, this may be the last time I ever hold her hand. As we walk down the street, tentacles lurking, I can feel my fear dissipate as sadness sets in. We make it to the train, I see that sadness in my daughter’s eyes, so I take off my hat revealing an origami bird, I give it to her, hugging her afterwards to make her feel better. I see my wife crying, I give her one last hug before I go, but they take my hand, feeling it one last time before I board the train, it is driving away. I promised them I would make them join me when I had enough money, I just hope I can deliver the promise, if I do life will be much better for all of us. Ill update this blog once I have somewhere to stay at the land I’m going to.
