I had some loose threads for a sequal comic. Almost started making it! Yet became unmotivated haha. Perhaps I'll make it some day.

But to answer, hopefully? I don't feel like doing it right now, I'm thinking of posting art of a diff series here. But I wouldn't mind coming back and doing more, just not now. Would love to see somebody else run with the idea!!!

It would be Marluxia confronting Naminé, how he knows who and what Naminé is, and that he knows this is a trick but she pushes on and insist it isn't. It ends with him turning to look at Larxene who is deep in thought (she's been affected too)

Loose 0.2 Aqua Design idea, incoperating the patterns into an outfit

Like the idea of Aqua's design changing but she herself doesn't notice, as her reflections/Phantom/own eyes she sees herself the same as ten years ago. Like an idealised version of her that in unmarred by the darkness, yet is an illusion. Also like the idea of Aqua V Phantom Aqua and the idea of fighter a younger, more idealised version of yourself that you slowly feel more and more disconnected from.

The outfit is supposed to feel big and covered, a lot more defensive. I kept the rough idea here too since I think it capture mood better haha. You can probably figure out some of the patterns here.

Some Notes!

Obviously these are Cards from COM, I was thinking about colouring them (red and green) but went instead with BW

I made a standalone post of these eyes without the text here.

You might not be able to tell but on the left is Marluxia with his Graceful Dahlia and on the right is Lauriam with a strelitzia flower, due to their similar shapes I thought it be funny to put them together

There are four main flowers in this post,

Dandelions - Referencing the Dandelions and also what Lauriam holds in his official art

Roses - Referencing Marluxia

Strelitzia - Referencing who knows who

Myosotis - Also the name of this post

You can see two Dandelions in front and then a frame composed of Roses, Dandelions and Strelitzias

This star is made up of five Strelitzias, with a bunch of roses between. But inside the star is faintly drawn Myosotis.

Myosotis, also known as Forget-me-Nots, is what I decided to use as to reference Naminé. I thought it would be ironic to use a flower that's about not forgetting for someone replacing the memories of another. Also the star alignment is loosly inspired by her lucky charm.

There is a fifth flower however that shows up once.

A Red Spider Lily, which symbolises death, reflecting Strelitzia's death. Also in this image it's already Naminé, as she is drawn in with a slightly blue pencil and it's her outfit, not Strelitzia's.

I like this page because it's supposed to be interrupting what actually happened. Changing the "But" to an "And". I also loosely tried to recreate Naminé's style which was fun.

By the final page there are no more Strelitzia flowers, with a lot more Forget-me-Nots.

I wanted to convey the idea that Naminé sort of drew herself on top of Strelitzia, hence you can see bits of her in the final image. Naminé's eyes are (intentionally) wrong here too, being green instead of blue.

I've been trying to draw this for weeks, you can see my first scrapped concepts here haha. I really liked them but didn't enjoy how the overall comic was going,

Everytime I make a post i tend to go to sleep straight after so it was bonkers waking up to 62 notes when I was preparing for single digits, and hoping for 15-20. I've really wanted to get this idea out so I'm happy people like it.
