Considering the whole conceit of the vampire chronicles is that they are all real, autobiographical books being passed off as fiction, the internet treating Lestat like he’s a real and problematic celebrity feuding with Taylor Swift is just *chef’s kiss* and I really hope the marketing team leans into it like he’s the fucking Blair Witch
Sam Reid for like two fucking years: Nobody has seen the real Lestat yet.

This series broke my heart. Such amazing performances. đź’”

Possession (1981) dir. Andrzej Żuławski
Easily the craziest movie I’ve ever seen, and the bravest performance by Isabelle Adjani. I think all would-be actors should watch this film. If you look at her performance and don’t think you can ever be that good, hang up your hat. That’s the kind of commitment you need. It’s unhinged and it’s brilliant.
Epitaph
by Merrit Malloy
When I die Give what’s left of me away To children And old men that wait to die. And if you need to cry, Cry for your brother Walking the street beside you. And when you need me, Put your arms Around anyone And give them What you need to give to me.
I want to leave you something, Something better Than words Or sounds.
Look for me In the people I’ve known Or loved, And if you cannot give me away, At least let me live on in your eyes And not on your mind.
You can love me most By letting Hands touch hands, By letting Bodies touch bodies, And by letting go Of children That need to be free.
Love doesn’t die, People do. So, when all that’s left of me Is love, Give me away.
I’ll see you at home In the earth.
