Surprise! | Everett & Audrey

Ev was exhausted to say the very least. After a full day’s work moving crates of fruit and keeping stock, he was left drained of energy. But as he drove along the familiar streets home, his pressing concern for Audrey’s news kept him awake and alert. What could possibly be so horrifying to make him hate her? His love for his little sister was beyond measure, so the possibility of something breaking his trust and love of her seemed absurd to him. But nevertheless, he could tell that Audrey was nervous. It was rare for her to text him so urgently over a serious matter.

He parked in their driveway and quickly unlocked their front door. He could see the lights of the living room were on, and proceeded to enter the room. But from the moment he entered the room, he could feel the tension. Ev could see that his little sister was nervous. “Hey Aud." he greeted gently, sitting himself down on the seat next to her. “So.. What do we have to talk about?" he asked cautiously, clearly concerned by her distress.

When Ev walked in the room, she instantly felt more nervous. She couldn't even look at him, not in the eye. She smiled a little, trying to calm herself down a little. "Hey Ev..." She whispered before turning her body to face him a little more. "I know — I know you try so hard to t-take care of me... and I feel so grateful to have a brother like you, Ev. You're probably the best brother anyone has ever had and that's why I feel so guilty about this whole thing... you - you try so hard to just protect me from everything and I know that you are upset about what happened with Noah and I but... I need to tell you something."

Her heart was racing, her palms sweating and her breath speeding up a little. She was actually about to tell him. He was going to be so mad.... she was afraid for not only him hating her, but there was no way he would forgive Noah for this. She looked down and took a deep break. "Ev... I'm pregnant."

Brad smiled as he watched Audrey appear from the front door of her house and got into the car “Hi…” he replied, starting up the car again and reversing from the driveway “So, how’s everything going with you and Everett?” he curiously questioned, knowing she had been really nervous about telling Everett the news that she was pregnant.

He turned a corner and stopped at the traffic lights, looking back at Audrey and smiling for a moment “I thought we’d go see a movie, unless you want to do something else” he told her, turning the radio up a little bit as he drove on and the cinema came into sight.

She smiled over at him, trying to hide the fear and emotions from showing on her face and in her voice. "I haven't told him yet... I'm telling him tonight, I'm kinda scared. He was so disappointed when he found out about the actual thing happening... when he finds out about this he'll probably kill Noah."

She nodded over at him and nodded over his face, "Sure, that sounds nice... you don't mind being seen with the 'town whore', do you?" She asked, making the quote marks with her fingers. Ever since she'd had sex with Noah, she'd been called a whore by too many people, even thought she had only ever had sex once in her lifetime. She wished things could be different.

Movies | Audrey and Brad

Brad had been running through a script he had received in his drama class a few days ago. It was for some skit he was suppose to be doing as a project for school, but he was in no mood to actually pay attention to what he was reading. Procrastinating was something he was pro at doing. He picked up his phone and text Audrey, asking her if she wanted to do something with him.

After receiving a text back from her within minutes he got up from his computer chair and threw his papers onto his bed, picking up a jacket and his car keys and walking out of his room, downstairs and outside into his car. He knew that they couldn’t do anything too extreme with the current state she was in, so he thought a movie would be ideal. He drove for about two minutes before reaching Audrey’s front driveway and texting her again to let her know he was outside.

Audrey had been at home, doing laundry and cleaning the house all day. She thought that it might make that night easier when she had to tell Ev the news... he would be in a good mood because he wouldn't have to do any housework. There were leftovers from their dinner the previous night which they could eat so she was thankful when she got to sit down and relax for a few moments. She was getting tired so much easier these days, she knew she had no one but herself to blame.

She hadn't realized she'd fallen asleep until a text woke her up with a jump. She grabbed her phone and saw Brad's name flashing on the screen. After reading the text, she smiled a little, going out sounded nice right now, she hadn't really got to hang out much at all in the past few weeks. She text back, saying she would love to and then not even five minutes later she got a text from him saying he was here. She got up and looked herself over in the mirror, deciding she looked okay, she got up and walked outside, locking the door behind her. Brad was waiting in his car, so she walked over to it and got into the passenger side. "Hey."

Surprise! | Everett & Audrey

Audrey was nervous… really nervous. She didn’t know how she was going to do this without falling to the floor and sobbing and begging for him to not hate her. She guessed she would just have to be strong and get over it… as if it was that easy. She remembered what Ev was like when he found out what had happened between the two, he had been so disappointed in her, as if this would be any different. It would be worse, she was sure. What if he told her to leave? That Noah had to look after her from now on? With all the stuff going on with Noah and Kai that she had been told about, she didn’t think she was going to end up with any friends… except Brad. Brad was the only one who would stick by her, that’s what she thought.

She was sat in their living room, waiting for Ev to get home. She was saying lines over and over in her head, just trying to think of the right words to say. Everything sounded wrong, she could feel tears pricking at her eyes, but she needed to keep it cool, she needed to calm down. Maybe if she stayed calm, then Ev would too... please?

Marley: hey sweetie! I'm really sick and going to be staying with you and Ev. Just wanted to let you know I'm staying in the spare room but I don't want you coming in there because I don't want you getting sick with the baby. If you need to talk or anything we can Skype through the walls :) haha

Audrey: Oh okay, well thanks for that... it's nice of you to think about that and not get me more sick than I already have been feeling haha
