Welcome to my blog!  A little bit about me: my name is Emily, and I’ve had this blog for about 3 years now!  If you’re a fan of Shadow and Bone, Bridgerton, and more, then this is the place for you!

I’m a nursing student, so I won’t be writing nearly as much as I have been, but I’m still around!  My inbox will stay open if you want to chat, but requests will remain closed and any requests will be deleted.  Asks like “Do you think X character would like X”, or  “I think X character would enjoy X” are fine, but please understand that it might take me a while to answer any asks.

My masterlists can be found here, and will be updated when I post any writings, but again, nursing school will be taking most of my attention and focus, but my blog will remain here for you all to read what I’ve written!

Hi! I really love your Shadow and Bone stuff and I was wondering something.

I've seen a lot of fics where the reader calls Aleksander "Sasha" and I want to know what that's all about. I only ask you cause you seem to know what you're talking about when it comes to the grishaverse.

It's been about a million years since I've been on tumblr lol, school has kicked my ass lately, but I am indeed not dead!

So I had to google this myself when I first started writing for S&B, and it's based on the fact that Ravkan is based on the Russian language, and Sasha is the diminutive of Aleksander. In the same way that Kolya is the diminutive of Nikolai, and Alinochka is the diminutive of Alina. Apparently in the Russian language, diminutives are used as nicknames or to show affection 🥰🥰🥰

Hello! 👋 Just out of curiosity, have you seen the RWRB deleted scene w/ Henry and Alex by the campfire? That moment is just…magical. You can practically see, hear, and feel Henry falling in love with Alex as he tells his story. Truly a modern day fairytale ❤️🤍💙
