Recently just came off a hiatus due to some family issues and University stuff. And no one has seem to be active and I feel like it is slightly my fault and I feel horrible. But nonetheless I really like this blog. So I need some new people to follow and RP with. Providing you won't mind RPing with a monster themed Hetalia blog of course!  I'm open to RPing with anyone.  For those who I have had threads with, tumblr seemed to have ate them or something. "Death for me? Only temporarily. You could say I’ve died many times before, yet I always came back to life sooner or later. It’s a shame to hear, however, that these wolves would bring death. I’m very fond of the animals, and have raised several. I would like to see a black wolf, but it seems as if I’ll have to avoid these Barghests. I don’t need to die right now, despite the fact that my religion considers death to be an honor. Also, do they still move around in the form of a headless person?" He asked after she had finished her explanations. "Have you tried finding something or someone to help ease the pain. Surely there must be some herbs you could use to help, or even a shaman or priest to consult yourself with. I understand your way of thinking. You should be careful with what people tell you, though. Lies are spread all the time."

"So you don’t die? That’s interesting really. I never thought immortality was a real thing." She pondered for a bit. "And it’s intriguing to think that death is an honour. Most would be terrified of it." "Well it’s not like all wolves are Barghests right. They bring death to those who deserve it I guess. But yes some of us do I believe. Although I myself have never seen another Barghest I’ve heard many legends. " She shyly admitted. "I have never really considered seeing a shaman. A priest would probably destroy me. At least if they are like what they use to be in the past." She smiled at him. “You’re right. I guess I should really stop caring about what other people say. If they say I’m a monster then their wrong right?”

"It is, how you put it, ‘a thing’. It’s been around for many, many years. I know my kind has it, and I know that there are other creatures of this earth with this… thing." He wouldn’t necessarily call it a blessing or gift. Because after all the hardships that had been brought to him through his long life, immortality did nothing to help with anything. "You mean Christians, don’t you?" He let out an annoyed sigh. "I know they fear death, because their silly church found no other way of setting fear into their people, and had no other way of securing power. My people, the Dacians, were different."

He gave her a look. Usually, a person who turned into a creature that was said to bring death would be called a monster. Alice did not seem like it, however. Sure, he had to still be careful, but she had so far caused no harm, and he doubted she intended to in the future. “No…” He finally replied after being silent for a couple of moments. “There are humans and different creatures out there who are far worse. Who are monsters.” Like himself if he thought well.

She nodded. "Yes Christians. I use to be one but, I can't help but doubt their thoughts now. Dealing with death I guess I have no option but to fear it. Because I know how fragile everything on this earth is and that even the most....immortal of things will die. That's how I view the world. But you Dacians seem to view the world in a more realistic manner." She pondered thinking a bit. "I guess there are far worse out there. Perhaps. Maybe there is a monster in all living things."

Well, she fainted. He tried catching her, but obviously in real life it doesn’t work so well. Maybe she had heat stroke… That means she should be brought back to his cave, disregarding the fact most girls dislike waking up in a strange male’s home.

She sure was pretty though, even when she had some sweat, dirt and bugs on her.

It didn’t take her too terribly long to come too. Maybe ten or so minutes. However when she came too she was suddenly looking up at the roof of some sort of cave. Dusty, damp, earthy, diffently could be used to describe the smell of the place. "Ughh…where am I?" She sat up looking around. "Hello? Anyone around?"

"Boo!" He shouted, grinning at her as widely as he could. "Welcome to my cave! You kind of fainted earlier, so I brought you back here!"

He definitely wouldn’t mention not catching her, thus letting her get really dirty.

Crawling back startled she looked at him. "S-So that wasn't a dream....Ummm.....h-hey....t-thanks I guess..." She got up brushing her dress fixing her glasses. "who are you may I ask...."

"Are cobblestones not anymore? Then what are new builds made from now? Do you live around a bunch of people. How do you do that I mean won’t they try and kill you or call you a witch?"  She tilted gave a wolfish smile looking at the circle he drew around her paw tail wagging. She wasn’t quite sure what it meant but it seemed a cute action that the other did. "Cute?? Most wouldn’t call me cute nor a faerie…" She made a little whine putting her head down and covering her face with her paws a bit embarrassed. "I am quite lucky that I met someone who isn’t trying to hurt me let alone provide a conversation."

"That’s a lot of questions, quite fast." Arthur smiled gently. "That said, the stone of the new age is cement and steel, a mess of hard and coarse material that is somewhat harsh on some of the more naturalistic of our kin. That said, I’m no fae, so it doesn’t bother me." He shrugged. "And I live around a number of gossipy villagers, but they stay out of my old church and I don’t bother them, so they’ve no reason to try to burn me at a stake. Not that much would happen if they tried.

"And you’re certainly a cute pup; anyone who says otherwise is completely wrong. Though, I suppose I may have guessed wrongly by my last encounter with a beautiful black beast quite your kin." He started drawing little smiley faces around the circle as he continued. "It’s been too long since I’ve seen another being of our type in hundreds of miles, so I couldn’t imagine not stopping for a chat."

"I'm sorry," she said sheepishly as her ears folded back and she lowered her body looking up at him. Awestruck, she listened to him, tail wagging faster and faster as he explained more and more. "Really people don't mind. I'm envious. I wish I could live like you honestly. All sorts of people wander the woods on Full Moons looking for me. Most don't seem to wish harm upon me...but even if they catch a glimpse of me their destined to die shortly there after. Sometimes I just feel like a monster who only destroys things." She barked happily rolling onto her back. "Most wouldn't say that. They usually say I'm monsterous not cute." She covered her face with her paws still on her back, knowing that if she was human at the moment then she would be blushing profusely right now. Have you seen one like myself around at some point? I do not think that there would be many. But I am thrilled that you seeked me out. Maybe I will have no need to feel so...hallow inside." She confessed rolling onto her side and looking away ashamed.

The Barghest

In some locales, black dogs are believed to be portents of death. One such creature, called the Barghest, was believed to haunt remote places in Northern England. It was said that those who saw the creature clearly would die soon after, while those who caught only a glimpse might live for a few months before succumbing. [x]

I made the mistake of listening to part of the audio book of The Hound of the Baskervilles before I went to sleep last night and spent the night cowering under my covers going OMG THE HOUND IS COMING FOR ME every time something creaked. It just gets me every damn time. 

If The Hounds of Baskerville doesn’t scare the shit out of me I will be most disappointed.

Silently he cursed to himself. He didn’t want to spend him time chasing what stole from him. Plus, taking and opening someone elses mail was illegal. Not that it was really important to him, but it was the princaple of it. Staring right into the shadows he saw two glowing orbs, eyes.The bones in his hands cracked as he slowly clenched them. Stretching his fingers out straight, his finger nails grew out a bit as well as his fingers. Even though he wasn’t looking for a fight, he wasn’t against self defence. There was a spring to his step as he quickly moved into the shadows to follow the other. Stress was begining to get to him. The air around him grew colder and his breath became fogged. It wasn’t long until he came to the dead end. In doing so he finally caught up with his thief. His violet eyes shifted to his damaged bag and over to the unnatural wolf infront of him. He was pretty sure what package he was carrying was now damaged or destroyed. Not keeping his eyes off of the other, he walked over to his bag. Picking it up by the strap, he saw that it was indeed torn and ripped. He let the strap slip from his hand, dropping the bag back on the ground. His head shook a bit as he stared down the other without fear. He didn’t really know what to feel at the moment. “Why did you have to go and do that?” Matthew’s voice came out a little harsher than it should.

The wolf shivered, snorting as the air around it got colder the closer the other being got to it. She barred her teeth letting out a snarl as she looked up. Something was off with this guy. Her snarl soon caught in her throat as her ears folded down and a whimper was let out. She lowed her body so her stomach was just hovering over the ground as her tail curled in between her legs.  "I-I was...hungry......and it smelt good....whatever it was...." her voice was more of dog's whine then actual words. She flinched as he dropped the bag back down. She really wasn't expecting him to come after her. And really wasn't expecting for him to not have been human.

"Woah, I was just kidding about the bugs, you know!" His eyes widened as she ripped her fancy dress on some trees and started sobbing. Poor, poor girl. It wasn’t her fault she was stuck with a socially awkward half-lizard/-jaguar thing. He was really confused on what he should do. Should he apologize, or try to comfort her or- he felt very socially awkward at that moment.

"W-why would you joke about that?!" She sobbed going and snapping of a branch from the nearest tree to her that she could reach.  As she waved it around she tried finding the person who the voice belonged to not thinking that he was in the trees. "Show yourself so I can," she hiccuped from the sobs, "throw this stick at you."   She was beginning to feel very light headed. Maybe it was the fact that the heat was getting to her or even the sun. Or the fact that she was sobbing and getting dehydrated. Maybe even he corset on her that was tight was constricting her. Either way the whole area began to spin as she stumbled back a bit.

Woah. That girl was looking really pale now. Like, the kind of pale humans become when they’re about to faint or something. But why would she want to throw a stick at him? He didn’t mean to scare her, only give her advice.

He felt bad. So bad, that he decided to jump down from his tree and let her throw the stick at him. ((And then, they could become friends while illusions of sparkles glistened in the background? Naw, that’d never happen.))

Once the other had jumped down she froze, locking eyes with him.  "Y-Y-You're a-a-a-a" she stuttered really unsure at what she was looking at. He was some sort of strange creature that's for sure and even if she didn't mean to be rude she really wasn't expecting that. Placing a hand on her heart she felt the place spin as she fell backwards, swooning, dropping the stick.

"I don’t see why you need to ask….so it’s like a market stall or a little shop on the corner of the street?" She blinked tilting her head a bit. "How is it an eyesore. I’m sure if the owner planted some flowers that would look nice yeah? Flowers and cobblestone roads always looked pretty." She watched him drawing patterns in the dirt and tried as well, making it seem like she was pawing the ground or stomping on the same spot, occasionally whining. "Limestone? So you’re made from rock? " She perked up tail wagging like mad, nearly jumping up but forcing herself to sit a few times. "That means that you shouldn’t die by seeing me right? Right?!"

Arthur chuckled. “A tad bigger than a market stall. I don’t think there are enough flowers on earth to cover that concrete monstrosity. If only cobblestone were common in new builds.”

He drew a little circle around her paw and smiled.

"I’m unsure if anything aside from a large explosion could kill me," he said. "Certainly not seeing a cute little faerie-dog like yourself. You’re in luck, you’ve met a person who can provide lasting conversation."

I really don't mean to. " The other seemed soft and kind but she felt that whatever she said may upset the other for whatever reason.
