A very long time ago you sent me an ask about noticing I was going through a depression and having an extremely difficult time just via the things I was reblogging. I didn't respond then because I was an incredibly insecure early 20 something, but I wanted you to know how much that ask meant to me. I still have it in my askbox and have looked back on it in very dark times to remind myself people have noticed me, even if it's in some small way. Thank you for your kindness all those years ago. I want you to know it was noticed and it was cherished 💚

Really warmed my heart reading this. I am so proud of you for your perseverance through hardships overtime. You've made it all the way to today which is an incredible feat, even if i haven't got a clue really what's happened but a success nonetheless! May you keep seeing sunrises :)

This is a progress shot when the hand painted designs I did for Doflamingo's clothes were completed.

Developing a cosplay is so very fun my confidence is rising. My visually impaired ass had to put a 10 second timer to see the large numbers so I'm very proud of how this photo turned out.

I first painted with bleach on the thrifted pants. 1 part chlorine bleach to 2 parts water ratio on bright orange fabric creates a dull hot pink so I had made a turmeric dye bath to bring back an orange hue then washed, dried and used white textile paint following the previous marking. With the thrifted shirt I first drew the design with a red color pencil then used a red textile paint and an angular brush. Letting fabric paint dry and set for 3 nights before hand washing the garment is key.

It is Autism Awareness Month, so not friendly reminder to allistics & neurotypical that if you feel like an autistic person's traits are "annoying" or "stressing YOU out" then for a second imagine being autistic and living in a world where we're CONSTANTLY stressed the fuck out. You're annoyed by someone stimming? Tugging on their sleeves or rocking back and forth? Imagine how fucking stressed that person is!

You're annoyed at your autistic colleague for not functioning the same way you are able to function? IMAGINE HOW FUCKING FRUSTRATING IT CAN BE FOR THEM!! Knowing that they're disabled and people still expect them to be capable of the same shit allistics & neurotypicals are. You're frustrated by your autistic colleague or classmate frequently needing breaks or needing extra info or needing time to regulate? Imagine how motherfucking traumatising it is for a disabled person to be told that they're trouble. That they're annoying. That they just "have to try harder".

Do better people. For the love of god, DO BETTER. It's 2023.
