Ok so one of our lovely beautiful cats had crossed the rainbow bridge. Her name was Trixie, and we had to put her to sleep because she had a whole bunch of stuff wrong with her, and she was so old, the chances of her recovering after all the treatments were very low. So low, that we didn’t want to put her through all that for nothing. I’m heartbroken. I can’t stop seeing her everywhere I look in this house, and I’m constantly crying. She helped me through so much. My biggest breakup ever, every sleepless night, all my emotional moments were saved with her, and I loved her. I still do. I can only hope that she and her friend are having fun in cat heaven, or wherever they go where they die. She did so much for me, and I wish I could pay her back. Give your best wishes to her as she makes her journey onward.

Dream Vacation: Another road trip up through Canada! We did one to visit internet friends a couple summers ago and it was honestly just such a blast. Even if I added about 2,000 miles under my belt as a driver haha.

How do you keep your hair: a little above shoulder length! It’s super curly so it bunches up to look a little shorter. I also keep the bottom half dyed! I’m on purple right now but I’ve been blue, lavender, deep dark blue, emerald green, and blonde there before :P Ummm I don’t really know… who to tag? Summer

Wild flowers and summer skys

are all that I can see,

and the dance of dragonflies

as they twirl above the trees.

Apple pies and fresh cut grass,

the smell of sun-tan lotion,

the awful tang of bug spray

and the salt of the ocean.

Juicy watermelon and sweet apple pie

are better when it's warmer,

as well as cool ice pops

from the truck on the corner.

The softness of fresh linen and a cool, reviving breeze

take me to my childhood as I lie beneath the trees.

The bull frogs belt their opera,

while the crickets play the strings.

Cicadas whine soprano notes

on moths' fragile wings.
