I'm really going to miss this roleplay. It was such a different concept and plot than anything else I've ever been in; and everyone was so great! I actually can honestly say I liked every single one of the players. I'm gonna miss y'all so much. I know some of you have my Skype if you wanna keep in touch- just message me on there or something. And if you don't have my Skype but want it, just shoot me a message on here and I'll try and get on to check it and reply asap.

We Could Be Friends || Annabelle & Aiden
While he was glad to have been given the chance to speak to Annabelle — Actually speak to her! — he felt like a fool. It was madness to hope she might actually like him, even as a friend. Their interactions had begun with her fall, and he’d continued to look a daft fool, complete with green dripping down his face. “Cool.” He cleared his throat when he realized he sounded too gruff. “I’ll look forward to it.” He wondered if it would be too much to ask if she wanted to exchange numbers.
Why did Aiden have to be so dang adorable? It just wasn't fair. Every moment she spend with him made her like him even more. She wanted more than anything to get to know him better, to hear his poetry. And it looked like her next chance would be at the reading. Maybe they could meet up there and sit together or something. "Yeah." She smiled, her gaze shifting to the ground. She figured she should give him her number so they could plan or something; but she was way too nervous to do that. What if he thought she was giving him her number because she liked him? That was the case; but she didn't want him knowing how she felt, not until she knew if he felt the same way or not. "So, um, should we just m-meet up there?"

“Um, nah, ya wouldn’t.” Aiden felt like he was sticking his foot in his mouth and down his throat. Of course he would love for her to hear some of his poetry. She had already read so much of it, anyway. He wanted to know what she really thought about it, but anything he read would probably be too revealing. Did he ever even want to reveal himself to her as her mysterious poet? Maybe someday. He was too afraid of being turned down. He shrugged one shoulder up, awkwardly. “Yeah, I guess we’ll see each other there.” Once again he opened the door and held it for her to get in. He closed it behind her before going around the car to get into the driver’s seat.
Aiden was quite a gentleman... When there wasn't mint ice cream dripping down his chin. Annabelle loved how he actually held the door for her, an act she'd never seen any of her brothers do for their girlfriends or for anyone else in general. It made her feel respected; and she liked that... Well she liked Aiden. "Sure." She smiled at him as she waited for him to climb into the driver's seat. Once he was settled in, she finished speaking. "I guess we will." It would be nice to get to see Aiden again, this time at the poetry reading. Even though he said he wouldn't read his poetry out loud, Annabelle knew she would do her best to persuade him otherwise. She was curious now. She wanted to hear some of his works.
If I have to hear Phoebe sing that "let me take a selfie" song one more time, I swear I'm going to push her down a flight of stairs...
We Could Be Friends || Annabelle & Aiden
Aiden didn’t notice her response to his mention of the poetry reading. He was feeling too anxious to have noticed. There was a spike in his nerves when he mentioned it. Anything with poetry was bound to make him nervous around Annabelle, so he wasn’t sure why exactly he had mentioned it. He did want to see her again, though, and soon. This would become a good opportunity. He was two steps behind her when she headed for the door. “Oh yeah?” He inquired curiously. “I don’t know if I’d read anything of mine.” He reached up and nervously ran his fingers through his hair. “Maybe I’ll see you there?”
Annabelle frowned when Aiden mentioned that he didn't know if he'd read any of his work. She was looking forward to maybe hearing someone of his. "Oh? Why not? I kind of wanted to, um, I wanted to hear some of your poetry." She replied, her voice getting softer, turning into a whisper the more she spoke. But when he asked if he'd see her there, she perked up again. "Oh, yes. I'm planning on going." She said. "I'm sure we'll run into each other." She added, a smile growing upon her face as she followed Aiden towards his car. She had enjoyed getting to spend time with him. She didn't want to go home; but she knew she probably should. So she was going to savor the ride back to the library. Hopefully it wouldn't be as awkward and terribly as the to the ice cream parlor was.
"Ah, well. Ignore my opinions, then. They might influence your creativity."
Consider them ignored.

”Sure.” It sounded more like a question than an answer, with the inflection rising slightly at the end. Aiden nodded and stood up to throw away his trash. He cast a look over his shoulder at her. “Sure,” He repeated, more certain. “I can take ya back there, if ya’d like.” His now empty hands slid into his front pockets. He rocked on his heals, his shoulders up and head tucked down. “Um, there’s a — Uh — Poetry readin’ coming up. Have ya heard ‘bout it?”
Annabelle perked up. She had heard about the poetry reading. And she had planned on going. She had also hoped Aiden would go so she could hear his poetry. There was that part of her that wanted to compare his to that of her mystery poet and see if it was a match. "Um, yeah. I've heard of it." She nodded as she stood up and began heading towards the door of the ice cream parlor. "I'm actually planning on going. I've been, um, I've actually been working on a poem myself." She had gotten the idea for a piece about the moon; but she wasn't sure if she was going to share it. She hadn't finished it yet and there was also the fact that she had severe stage fright.

Aiden had given up on his ice cream cone. It was too messy for him now. He wrapped the cone in his napkin and prepared to throw the rest of the melted mess away. He noticed a piece of the mint on his thumb and brought it to his mouth, sucking on the end. He nodded, grinning and removing his thumb from his mouth. He looked like a guilty child caught with his hand in the cookie jar. “Yeah, uh, sure,” He blushed, “My pleasure. Do ya want a ride home? I mean, I brought you here…” He wouldn’t mind driving her home, but he didn’t want her to become uncomfortable with him again.
Annabelle laughed at Aiden's gestures, reminded of the young children she read to at the library. "No. Um, could you actually just take me back to the library? My car's there." She wanted to drive her car home so she didn't have to bother her family to go pick it up for her. She knew they'd do it in a heartbeat; but she didn't feel like inconveniencing them. And besides, she felt okay now. She felt like she could drive the few blocks from the library to her house.
Wasn’t it supposed to feel like that? Were you going for a serene sort of night?
N-No. It, um, I don't, uh, I don't really know where I was g-going with it.
Poetry Reading | OPEN
Annabelle made her way through the crowded halls of Miskatonic University, surprised by how many people were still on campus this late in the evening. She knew some of them had classes; but she didn't find it possible that the rest of them were there for the English department's poetry reading. She hoped they weren't all there for the reading. She was planning on *trying* to work up the courage to read a piece she'd been working on; but she had the feeling that her nerves would get the best of her and she'd end up just spending the evening listening to others recite their own works. The main reason she was going to the even wasn't because of her love for words and poems. She was hoping that a certain mystery poet would perform and she'd be able to finally find the identify of the person who had been writing her poems last semester. She also was hoping to get to hear some of Aiden's poetry. Even if he didn't end up being her mystery poet, she just wanted to hear his poetic verse.
Making her way into the small auditorium for the reading, she found an empty seat near the back of the room, away from prying eyes and where she wouldn't draw attention to herself. She took the seat and looked around. There were only a handful of students and professors scattered amongst the other seats. Some she recognized; but most were strangers to her. She felt uncomfortable. All she wanted was to see one familiar face. That's when she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. "Is this seat taken?" A voice asked.
"It sounds like a looming sort of story, like something’s about to jump out of the darkness ahead."
I-It... It does?
