I am...strangely honored? Despite my new role beexorcising all these Cursed AUs...
AU where someone, anyone (but preferably Yang) is doing a project on/already has an understanding of either the former White Fang leadership or the current leader of Menagerie, and connects the dots on who Blake really is while they’re still at Beacon. (Must include at least one Princess joke and hopefully Blake’s team encouraging her to get back in touch with her parents)
Yang draped her arm over Blake’s shoulder and leaned close to her ear. “So, Princess, huh?” she asked. Blake’s head snapped around, putting their faces very close together.
“What?” she snapped, supressing a shiver. Yang grinned at her.
“The project Oobleck gave me was to research leadership of the White Fang and families of Menagerie, and I found something in-ter-es-ting.”
“Oh yeah?” Blake asked, slightly distracted by the way Yang’s mouth curled around the word ‘interesting’.
“Yep. Turns out the former leader of the White Fang is also the current Chieftain of Menagerie, and interestingly enough, shares your last name. Wanna tell me what that’s about?” Blake was pulled from her drifting thoughts about Yang’s mouth.
“So? How do you know Belladonna isn’t just a common last name for Faunus?” Yang’s smile got wider.
“Well I did a little more digging and found a Menagerie newspaper clipping. Ghira’s daughter, Blake, ran away four and a half years ago.” Her face softened. “They’ve been looking for you, Blake. I think they’d be happy to know you’re safe.” Blake shook her head.
“No! They probably hate me…Before I ran off I called them cowards! I told them I hated them!” Yang scootched a little closer, running her fingers over Blake’s cheeks.
“I doubt they hate you, Blake. They probably miss their runaway princess as much as we love her.” Blake managed a little laugh.
“It’s chieftain’s daughter, actually.”
“What’s the difference?”

I made these wallpapers for personal use, but I’ve decided to post for you guys.
Yang must have felt so guilty during the whole Apathy thing.
She thought it was all her fault, that because she had rejected Blake earlier, her partner had been left too emotionally vulnerable and that’s how the Apathy got to her so badly.
When Blake finally stood up, half walking half carried by Ruby, Yang lingered like the fingerprints of her partner on her arm, even though she could only feel the pressure of them, an attempt to comfort her met only with empty air.
The anger in her veins gave her the power to bust the door open, the desire to keep her loved ones safe fueling her body.
But even back in the house, they weren’t safe yet.
So Yang grabbed Blake’s hand, you tried to give me a part of you, and i have come to claim it, and brought her into safety
And finally Blake held Yang’s hand in front of the boy with the lost eyes and said i will keep the parts of you safe and i trust you with mine, we found an us and we will never let go again

Bumbleby Monday!
Hey everyone!
In an effort to banish the Cursed AUs and to generate lots of great Bees content, I’m launching a little thing I like to call Bumbleby Monday.
You may have seen this done in other fandoms, and I figured it might be a good way to get some good content in place of all these disastrously cursed AUs…
(This will go on hiatus whenever the actual Bumbleby Week is - just figured it might be fun to have something ongoing for the rest of the wait until Volume 7 and beyond!)
The idea is: over the course of each week, y'all send me ideas for a prompt/theme, either here or over at @bumblebymonday (which I’m still setting up, so pardon the lack of theme). They can be single words, specific AUs, whatever idea you have, send it over, and it’ll go up in a big poll (as long as it isn’t Cursed). A top 5 will be picked each week and a runoff poll will go up on Wednesday so everyone can vote on what they want the next Monday’s prompt to be.
After that, you just go ahead and create whatever you want related to the prompt! Art, fics, gifsets, headcanons, whatever. Post them and tag them #bumbleby monday - they’ll be reblogged to the aforementioned Tumblr! (And don’t worry if you’re late, you’re always free to use whatever prompt you like and tag it, and I’ll make sure it gets reblogged!)
So yeah - go ahead and start messaging me prompts on either blog, and I’ll get that poll up so y'all can start voting! The first poll-chosen Bumbleby Monday will be on March 4th.
