It's never a dull moment at the noodleshop! Especially when you start getting goddesses for clients!
Although the goddess of creation Nüwa wasn't really there for the city's longest noodle, but to talk to the Harbringer of Chaos himself. Talk that was very quickly derailed as Pigsy tried to both fight the goddess and get her out of his establishment, almost giving Tang a heart attack in the process.
After some convincing, the pig demon allowed the immortal to speak, realizing that she might not have wanted to disrupt their lives as he had feared.
---
Lore talk aside, I think Nüwa is a rather interesting character, and I am kinda glad we don't get a lot of her in the show, because it lets me explore a bunch of possibilities.
Writing meaningful conversation is hard.
Based on my Ocean Hair Giyuu design. I love it so much that I have actually expanded the idea into a au in the past year hhh. I call it The Cursed au. Unfortunately, I don't have time to sketch the rest of the crews. But I still want to write them down to share with you all.
📢Update: Part 2 is here !!📢
Despite the Demon Slayers' best efforts and Ubuyashiki's determination, the Demon Slayer Corps continues to struggle against the demons. It is a one-sided war. Humans are simply not as strong as demons.
The Ubuyashiki family has always been connected to the gods in one way or another. Oyakata sama, worried for his children, prayed for the gods' help. The gods are fair. They cursed the male bloodline of the Ubuyashiki family for creating the first demon, yet they also granted them the gift of foresight so they might one day eliminate the demons and Muzen. And this time, they answered his call.
The nine Hashira were chosen to receive their gifts. The gods granted them the strength of nature itself and lifespans long enough to fight a lasting war against the demons. But such power does not come freely.
Because this strength was never meant for mortal bodies, the Hashira could not contain it in their human forms. They were forced to transform, their bodies reshaped into stronger vessels capable of bearing the gods' gifts. In doing so, each of them lost a part of their humanity.
What was meant to be a blessing slowly revealed itself to be something closer to a curse...
Tomioka Giyuu💧
Tomioka embodies the water element, making him the second strongest among the Hashira. He can become one with water - a pond, a lake, a river, the ocean, even the waves. Anywhere water is connected, he can exist. He can control it freely and even create a tsunami.
But this power is too great for his human body. Unless he constantly suppresses it, his body will become very large. Along with these physical changes, he loses the ability to speak. He can no longer form words, only sounds and broken noises, like gibberish. The only way he can communicate is through singing.
When he sings, the marine life answers him. Fish and other creatures echo his voice, as if they understand him. The water around him reacts to his emotions. Depending on his mood, his surroundings, and his voice, the water shifts and moves with him.
In the water, he is the most powerful creature alive. Nothing can match him there.
But on land, he is nearly helpless. His body struggles to move, and even simple actions become difficult. Without water, his strength fades quickly. He needs someone by his side to support him and help him move when he is on land.
However, his greatest weakness is not dry land or fire. It is extreme cold. If the temperature drops too low, he can freeze solid and become trapped forever.
Once, a small group of Demon Slayers was trapped beneath a frozen lake. Tomioka rushed in to save them. He managed to free everyone, but the harsh weather was too much for him. In the end, he was frozen, turning into a giant statue of ice.
The slayers who heard his scream could feel his desperation and heartbreak. Even without words, his pain reached them.
These changes hit Tomioka hard. He no longer feels like himself. Ashamed of what he has become, he refuses to show his face to the others and hides deep in the ocean. He ignores Oyakata sama's call.
But when others cry out for help, he still comes.
Rengoku Kyojuro🔥
Rengoku had, of course, granted the power of fire. There is no one else who is more suited to wield such strength than him. With his flames, he can burn down anything. He becomes a light in the darkness, guiding others through the night. He can control the size and temperature of his fire with great skill.
But fire burns everything - and everyone.
Knowing the danger, Rengoku keeps his distance from others, even from his beloved family. If he loses control, his emotions will affect the flames around him and burn everything nearby. Because of this, he forces himself to suppress his feelings, something he never thought he would do.
Rengoku was the first to speak against Oyakata sama's prayer. He has always been proud to be a human. He understood that the gods' gift would push past the boundary of humanity. With such great power and a long lifespan, they would slowly stop being human. They would become something closer to demons. This went against his belief.
For that reason, he never truly forgave Oyakata-sama.
But Tomioka's freezing incident was what made him finally leave the Demon Slayer Corps.
Tomioka's scream echoed through the air, reaching even the far side of the forest where Rengoku stood. When he rushed to help, the ground beneath his feet burned so dark that smoke could be seen for days. The trees burned brightly in his path.
Yet when he saw Tomioka frozen solid, his flames felt cold for the first time.
Rengoku stayed by his side for seven days, breaking the ice and keeping him warm until the ice finally melted.
After that, he left the Demon Slayer Corps. He no longer calls Ubuyashiki 'Oyakata sama'. Instead, he refers to him as 'that man', or simply 'Ubuyashiki'.
With such power, living alone, and suppressing his emotions, the blaze in his heart has grown dim. His eyes are clouded now. He frowns more than he smiles. He is starting to resemble his father.
Even so, the region he once patrolled has not seen a single demon since his departure. And sometimes, his family finds a burnt black spot in their garden.
Deep inside, Rengoku still cares for them.
Himejima Gyomei🪨
Himejima was so strong that the gods took a liking to him and granted him the power of Mother Earth, making him the strongest of the Hashira. He can control the ground beneath his feet, causing a cave in or creating an earthquake is as easy as snapping his fingers.
As a follower of the gods, Himejima accepted Oyakata sama's prayer and the god's gift without hesitation. His body went through many changes: his skin hardened like rock, his body grew larger than even Tomioka's, and greenery began to sprout from him. The tears that once ran down his face turned to sand, and dirt left wherever he moved.
However, even gone through these changes. The gift was too much for Himejima’s body to handle. It overwhelmed him. He gradually lost his humanity, from his ability to speak, to think, and to act as a human. But before he lost himself completely, Himejima held onto one last resolve - to eliminate the demons and protect the Demon Slayer Corps. He became one with the land, sleeping beneath the earth.
Though he could no longer able to appear in his humanoid form, he continued to aid the slayers whenever they or Oyakata sama called. He would raise stone walls for protection, crush demons with massive rocks, or even grow fruit for slayers in desperate need.
Even though he is no longer actively present in the corps, his presence is still felt. When slayers lose hope or feel discouraged, flowers may bloom around them as if encouraging them, a quiet reminder that Himejima san is still watching over them.
Shinazugawa Sanemi🌪️
Shinazugawa received the power of wind, allowing him to create anything from a gentle breeze to a raging tornado, as freely as his heart seeks to. Flight came with this gift, letting him travel anywhere freely.
Since receiving the power, he has spent most of his time traveling to slay demons. The wind gives him a huge advantage, making traveling effortless. Yet, he also feels conflicted. Ever since his family was killed by demons, he never believed in gods anymore. Now, the gods have given him such power, and he can't help but wonder why they didn't give it to him earlier, when it might have saved his family.
Seeing his colleagues suffer and lose themselves because of their gifts only deepens his doubt. He understands why some of them hate Ubuyashiki.
He still remembers the day Himejima lost his humanity and the day Tomioka's scream echoed through the air. The wind itself shifted violently, pushing him back. He felt like he couldn't breathe under its force, and it blew at him for days.
Despite his doubts, he remains loyal to Ubuyashiki and answers his call. But if he hears anything he disagrees with, or feels the conversation is a waste of time, he will leave without warning. After all, he has long lost his respect for the man he once refer as 'Oyakata sama'.
Because of his constant missions, he rarely has time for himself. His hair has grown so long that he must tie it in a low ponytail, or it gets in the way when he takes flight.
He knows he can't always be there for his fellow Hashira, but the wind always brings him news of them. At least that way, he knows how they are doing.
If you were a Hashira, how would you react with the god gift and Oyakata sama's prayer?
Thx you for the blessing! I can use it save many people!
Why would you do that? Don't you trust us to make a difference as a human?
NO! NO! You can't do this to me!

If you have read all of this, I want to thank you. It's such a random au that been stuck in my mind for a while, and I want to share it with everyone. There are still other members, but for now, I can only think of them. Maybe one day, I will come back to this au!
Long talk/Ideas under the cut, warning for slight body horror and dark fae topics. (Note: I may add stuff over time, but nothing will be deleted from the list)
Twilight. Wind. Legend. Hyrule. Four. Sky. War. Wild.
Time (Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask). Other nicknames: Mask, Sprite, Old man, Pops.
Titles: Hero of Time, Hero of the Kokiri, Hero of Mask, Hero of Termina, The Hero’s Shade. The Changed Kokiri
God who has claim over his soul: Kishin (Fierce Deity)
Part of First’s soul: Thoughtfulness
Note: Also appears in Hyrule Warriors. Is responsive for the first timeline break:
Fallen timeline - never grows when picking up the master sword and ends up dead because the energy of the fight was too much on his body.
Child timeline - Where he went through Oot and was sent back. So, to everyone he just got the gems and as a kid with visions warn of the outcome. (twilight princess)
Adult timeline - this was the timeline where he defeated Ganon as an adult, it was abandoned after (Wind Waker).
History:
Time is not human at all, though he looks like it. He is a Kokiri, a child of the fae and once leaving the forest, he’s considered a changeling. His mother is Navi, though she wasn’t by his side for most of his ‘childhood’ as she was sent on mission by the great deku tree.
Being sent on his adventure after the great Deku tree’s death, he and Navi leave the forest (much to Navi and the other kokiris horror). And start the journey from Oot, the only difference is Time has a full-on panic when he wakes up as an adult, because he knows physically, he’s a kokiri. Even after the events of Oot, he is never fully the same, this isn’t helped when Navi leaves his side for a moment, and he can’t find her. As he goes to find her, he ends up in Termina and ends up in a hellish time loop. Time is unsure how long he was in this loop, so his age mentally is completely unknown. Eventually he succeeds, however he doesn’t get time to rest as he is immediately sent to the Era of War (Hyrule Warriors), with skull kid and others. He ends up growing close to the Link from that era and he learns a lot about him before he is sent back. He never goes back to the Kokiri forest, for fear he wasn’t Kokiri anymore and the lost woods would transform him.
After being sent back to his time, he ends up living at Lon Lon Ranch, going on small adventures before marrying Malon.
His death: Time is sent somewhere for a war and ends up wounded in the lost woods. He’s injured with a metal mix that is poisonous to kokiri . Knowing what awaits him, Time holds onto his regret, which would keep him as a ghost on the world. The biggest regret was leaving behind someone he was protecting, never fulfilling the promise to see him again.
Interest stuff/Head canons:
Kokiri's are children of Fae who have yet to decide what they want to be, they are adaptable to everything, hence why they mainly take on human children or little tree children.
The sharp teeth, claws and inhuman eyes are typically just a defense to keep humans away, the biggest difference being their blood and tears proving they are not human.
Time’s teeth and nails are still sharp, he just actively keep them trimmed or filed down so others won’t freak out
Typically, the guardian fairies are the ones to protect the kokiris however they can use their teeth and claws if needed.
Although It’s discouraged for any Kokiri to experience or cause harm from the old saying ‘not to spill blood in the forest, as the tree will remember and crave it’, and blood and flesh will have to become a part of diet to grow up healthy (so Time eats a lot more meat then most).
Time was very much afraid of dying from leaving the forest, he was reassured that having the gem and his mother would keep him alive and healthy. It’s why he hunts for Navi so much after Oot, and later so heavily used to Fierce deity mask in HW. He now knows he doesn’t need it (the mark FD gave him is enough), but he still wears the gem as comfort.
He still hopes to see Navi one day, maybe just for comfort.
Because of his Kokiri/Fae nature and his ability to adapt, he took on aspects from each of the transformation masks, most are hidden from sight.
The Deku scrub has left Time’s insides to be a network of roots and vines rather than veins, this does allow him to heal faster. The Goron has transformed his bones to rock, as well as the heat not affecting him, he could stick his hand in lava if the vines didn’t scream in pain. Zora already improved his musical ability (fae song) but also has added scales and the ability to breathe underwater. The FD has added his height, the marking that married his face and eye as well as his unnerving and unreadable magic signature.
However Time does his best to hide his inhuman features, it’s why he doesn’t take off his bottom layer of clothes. Only the FD mark can be seen.
Time's blind eye acts like the lens of truth times 100, however he keeps it close because of the information overload.
Time loves Malon, and always dreams of having a family with her, but he always fears what his inhuman genes might do to the kid. Twilight, who shares so many traits with him and Malon, eases these worries.
He is very experienced and physically is the oldest.
However, he does just enough odd stuff that the closer you look at him and his behavior, the more you're on edge.
He can speak Hylian, Zora, Goron and Deku really well, but all sound very stiff and formal. Fae is the only one he speaks naturally though it's been getting rusty as he mostly speaks Hylian.
He still has a lot of childlike mischief still left, so he not above pulling pranks, but mainly harmless ones considering he’s the voice of reason.
Time's favorite food are sweet treats. He has stolen many cookies.
He still has all his masks, and while he does show them to the group. The transformation mask never leaves his bag. Despite the FD mask being the only one with a soul left, it feels off to let anyone mess with the Goron, Deku or Zora.
Time’s eye glows in darkness.
He gave himself the scar over his eye.
He has a tattoo on his shoulder from the Goron’s back home. It’s just never seen sense he doesn’t take off his shirt.
Because of Termina, Time can keep time down to the second, day and night.
