Here is a picture of my friend Fidaa’s baby girl, Sila. Sila and her baby brother Muhammed are currently stuck in a situation so horrible that words struggle to describe it.
Fidaa, (@fidaa-family2) the mother of these beautiful children, is a 29-year-old woman from Gaza who, during the war, was separated from her entire family and is currently being forced to take care of her two children, completely alone.
Her children are both sick from the cold and the encroaching spread of diseases, and they are all in pain. She has been displaced with her children many, many times, each time having to dip into her precious evacuation funds to buy transportation.
Every time she is displaced, she is forced to buy a new tent, which as we know costs $1,500…
This makes her evacuation funds absolutely instrumental for her and her two small children’s survival, two children who I will now remind you are sick, hurting, and starving in a situation that nobody could have ever predicted.
These conditions are absolutely catastrophic. They are apocalyptic. No child, no mother, no person should ever have to go through this.

You can help by donating and sharing so that Fidaa is not forced to struggle any longer. All she hopes for is to get enough money to evacuate to Cairo so that she no longer is forced to rely on the black market for things as simple as food.

My name is Mohammed, and I am a husband and father of three amazing children. We live in Gaza, a place that was once filled with the vibrant energy of bustling markets, children playing in the streets, and the comforting presence of family and friends. Gaza was a place where we could dream of a better future.
But today, that Gaza feels like a distant memory. The ongoing war has ravaged our home, leaving it severely damaged and our means of livelihood shattered. What was once a place of love and community has turned into a zone of fear, with bombings and horror cries and the constant struggle to secure basic necessities like food and clean water.
After much painful deliberation, my family and I have made the heart-wrenching decision to leave our beloved home of family and connection to rebuild our lives.
