The Shelley and I found a new venue. @acebiscuitandbarbecue opened 11 years ago, but for us, it is new. This is a gem in Charlottesville, VA for amazing food. Everything is made from scratch (even the pickles). I had the "Ol' Dirty Biscuit" which is a fried chicken thigh on a homemade biscuit smothered in scratchmade sausage gravy, topped with smoked pimento cheese, a side of hash, and I washed it down with a Moscow Mule. I definitely recommend this establishment. Their customer service is exceptional.
