What is this?
This blog was created as a supplement to the final project for my Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at San Jose State University. My study explores how improved bicycle and pedestrian access to the Minneapolis Midtown Greenway may affect environmental perception, physical activity habits and health indicators of nearby residents.
The images and videos posted here help illustrate the relationship between the Minneapolis Midtown Greenway, recently completed and future bicycle network projects. These projects, funded by the federal Non-Motorized Transportation Pilot Program (NTPP), contribute to greater access and connectivity to the Midtown Greenway, the greater Minneapolis bicycle network, and helped define the study areas for my project.
This is the first phase of a two-phase longitudinal study.
