Ten years ago tonight (Oct. 14), the Chicago Cubs were five outs away from their first World Series appearance since 1945 and held a 3-0 lead over the Florida Marlins in the top of the eighth inning in Game 6 of the 2003 NLCS at Wrigley Field. The Cubs suffered a stroke of bad luck when fan Steve Bartman grabbed a foul ball off the bat of Luis Castillo before Moises Alou could catch it. Castillo drew a walk, and the Florida Marlins scored eight runs in the inning and went on to win Game 6 and later the series. (John Biever/SI)
