How cool is reading a book that takes place in the location you're visiting!? I picked up "The Perfect Couple" by Elin Hilderbrand from @Chaptersindigo before my trip and have been loving reading it while on Nantucket. I was able to visit a few of the restaurants mentioned in the book and learned about "Nantucket reds" (I saw so many men wearing them)! The Perfect Couple is the ideal read for a summer day at the beach. An adult “slushie” with all of my favourite things: @kimcrawfordwine Sauvignon Blanc, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice & pink! I just love serving this granita cocktail as an after-dinner indulgence because it’s so simple to make (just 2 ingredients + time) and it looks so elegant, especially when served in vintage coupe glasses and topped with peaches and mint! So refreshing! #ad #undoordinary #kimcrawfordwine #winecocktail #granita #grapefruitgranita Kim Crawford Grapefruit Granita Cocktail: INGREDIENTS: 3-CUPS freshly squeezed grapefruit juice 1 bottle Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc DIRECTIONS: -Pour juice and wine into a shallow plastic container, cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer. -Using a fork, stir the mixture every 30 minutes, breaking up the ice until granita is frozen (about 3 hours). -Scoop into chilled coupe glasses. -Garnish with fresh grapefruit, peaches or mint and serve with a dessert spoon. — view on Instagram http://bit.ly/2MNTKbu

Happy Tuesday, friends! How was everyone’s Canada Day long weekend? We didn’t get up to much around here but I did bake a strawberry-blueberry pie with my sis which was SO good!
