Hi, I’m TheBlueBlues, and I write the kind of stories that hopefully leave you a little breathless, the ones where intimacy feels completely earned, where even the filth has feelings, and where every touch, glance, and whispered word means something. I build slow burns that hopefully burns. Power dynamics with weight. Smut that’s hot because it’s human, raw, emotional, and full of the right characterisation.

You’ll find obsession, tenderness, devotion, trust, and sometimes laughter tangled in the same paragraph.

‘Good morning, love,’ Remus murmurs, eyes still half-shut as he reaches for the coffee just where Sirius leaves it every month like clockwork. 

Remus knows to shake the mug before he dreams so the cream swirling thick and lazy in the centre blends with the miracle drink Remus so swears by. Sirius watches his Adam’s apple bob as he blows three times before sipping. When the other man sets the mug down, Sirius leans in and ever-so-gently pulls at his neck with his teeth until Remus sighs and slides his hands under Sirius’s nightshirt. 

Long fingers splay out on either side of Sirius’s ribs, who abandons his plan to settle himself over Remus with a leg on each side of his lap as Remus’s grip pulls him back into bed. They lie face to face once again, just as, only hours ago, they lay nose to nose as canines in the night.

Xenophilius sits in front of the Ravenclaw house yet again, looking sad and lost. Severus has seen it a few times already, but until now he wasn't curious and/or bored enough to care about it. Just now he is. He sits down on the bench next to the soft-spoken boy, so extremely blond that it looks like he has no lashes or eyebrows, the most extreme contrast to Severus himself.

“So, why are you out here and not in there?” Xeno is smarter than even most Ravenclaws, the riddle can't be the reason.

Xeno shrugs. “Our dear portrait doesn't like my answers, and my fellow ravens won't help. They think I am too strange.” That is certainly true, but no reason for hostility. There are no people less mean and spiteful than Xeno, also in difference to Severus.

“Then what did the Portrait ask?”

“What is black and white and musical.” Xeno gesticulates. “The obvious answer is so boring. But think of it. There as so many interesting birds in these colours...”

It makes sense. Xeno wouldn't just say “piano” and be done with it. “Well, let me try it.” He does, he opens the door, it's fine. It's boring too, Xeno is right about that.

“Thank you, Severus. I always knew you were kinder than people say.” Xeno slips through the now open door, but turns back for just a second, smiling and kissing his cheek as if it was the most normal thing. Then he is gone.

The mark where he touched skin burns for hours, and Severus doesn't wash it for days.

Severus' face over the drink he didn't order and that still gets brought to the table, sours only more, when he sees who forced it upon him. As if he hasn't seen enough red-heads for a life-time already. “William.”

“Bill, if it pleases you, the smart, nimble youngster corrects and sits, uninvited. “I saw you sitting alone, and that's a pity.”

Severus would like to disagree, and so would the rest of the room. He has never been in favour of the masses. Given that things are bound for disappointment, whatever Bill intends the drink to mitigate, Severus cuts right to the chase. “What do you want?”

But a Weasley's good mood is never disturbed by something as profane as reality. Bill just grins. “Being sociable? See if I got a chance with the dark untouchable one?”

“What?” It cannot be what he heard, clearly he must be going insane. “Chance for what?”

Bill sighs, the face turning more grave, if no less open. “A night out, a talk, a tumble, if you feel like it. Whatever tickles your fancy.”

“With you?” Severus frowns. “You are a child!”

“I am not.” Bill shrugs. “And you are what? Ten years older? Hardly makes a difference now.”

“You Weasley's will be the end of me!” Severus would love to dismiss it. And yet. It's been terribly lonely lately – and what would it cost him? “You've got a room?”

The grin is back. “A whole lot more than just a room. How about that: I get you a home-cooked meal in peace – you like like you could use one – and then we see what happens?”

There have been worse suggestions in the recent past.

“I don't know how you do it.” Lucius pours them both a glass and hands one over to Arthur, a good one, far beyond his usual reach – a thing that would change if it was up to him. “The bunch of kids, and the horrible woman.” He is not just talking about Molly's heritage, honestly, it's the least of it all, really, given he is slumming too.

“She was there, and you know what they say. No one is as blind as those who don't want to see.” Arthur shrugs and smells the booze before taking appreciative sips. “After her attempt to doze me with Amortentia, all I had to do was play along.”

“And for what?” Lucius scoffs.

“Same as you. Sons, an heir, good standing with the family, as long as they lived. Good standing in society...” It's a bitter truth, but a truth nonetheless, they are both doing it. “Does Narcissa know?”

Lucius doesn't really know. She should by now, given their sorry attempts to have more than one child – with age the usual helpful spells are even less reliable than they used to be. “We...” He bites his lip. “If only I dared, I would tell her, and... producing a spare would be much less tedious.”

“Always the cautious one...” Arthur closes in, but doesn't touch, which Lucius both dreads and appreciates. He always asks for permission, if not by words. As if he knew how much more Lucius has to lose. His in-laws are still alive.

“It's safe,” is all it takes for Arthur to slip onto the couch and pull Lucius into his lap. To kiss him and rough his skin with his five-o'clock shadow – as if he had no spells for that.

Lucius treats his wife like a princess, and only Arthur knows it's because that's how he would like to be treated.

For Empi - Severus x Peter

I picked the rat up near a restaurant close to Spinner's end, one of the cheap ones, where quantity tops quality. It hid by the trash cans, while the cook screamed bloody murder, and I could almost see its little heart beat in panic.

I always wanted a pet, when I was smaller, could never have one, and this little guy clearly needed help. It didn't look like a wild beast, didn't behave like it either. Almost gratefully it hid in the wide fabric of my coat.

It took my food, it took my pets, it even came close to check on me, when the horror of the whole war matter caught up to me. It seemed to need the cuddles as much as I, and like I, it couldn't really afford the trust, but did it anyway.

At first I didn't want to really keep it, but things looked bad outside for either of us. I was going to be burned in the war without anyone thinking twice, and the rat... There were cats and dogs, there was poison and dark alleys and all the dirt – and compared to the feral things swishing through the trash in back alleys, “my” rat looked all too tame. So I kept it. And kept it.

Until one day Peter Pettigrew of all people was in my kitchen, looking as weak and apologetic as he always did. “Listen...” he stuttered insecurely. “It has been nice, and all – and I still don't know where to go. I mean.... out there...” He shuddered. “But...” He shrugged and then rubbed his face all over. “It.. you... should know, I liked it, but... I am not really made for being a rat all the time, you know?”

“You what?” The answers were all there, but it was so absurd, they didn't compute right away.

“I just... needed to hide. Somewhere. There were Death Eaters all over, and I was scared.”

I was never a coward, but I saw the point – and pitied him. Besides... it had been pleasant, somehow.

“Well... then keep hiding. It's not like many people come around.”

It felt absurd to cuddle with the man that night – and strangely, he knew. He turned back into that squishy little thing with its sniffy nose and its tiny paws, and I could almost forget. Maybe I would get used to it.

A Sunday Snippet on a Monday... *blasphemous*

London, autumn 1979. The flat above the little Muggle bookshop in Islington was theirs—Sirius, Remus, and the ever-present chaos of James Potter crashing in whenever he wasn’t off doing whatever it was the Order asked of him these days. They were twenty, kinda broke, half-feral with the war humming at the edges of everything, and stupidly, fiercely in love. Sirius and Remus had been together since seventh year offically, but even before they had been the kind of solid that didn’t need labels but had them anyway. James had always been the third point of their triangle—best mate, brother, the one who could make them laugh until they cried even when the world felt like it was ending. It had started, like so many things did, with James and his bloody camera.

“Hold still, Moony,” James murmured from behind the lens, the soft click of the shutter the only sound besides the low crackle of the record player. “Merlin, you look incredible.”

Remus knelt on the worn rug in the middle of the sitting room, cheeks already flushed pink. The black lace lingerie clung to him like it had been poured on—tiny knickers that barely contained how hard he was, a delicate bralette that did nothing to hide the way his chest rose and fell with every shaky breath. Sirius had picked it out weeks ago from a dodgy Muggle shop in Soho, eyes dark with promise when he’d slipped it into Remus’s hands. Tonight Sirius had dressed him in it himself, slow and reverent, whispering praise against every inch of skin until Remus was trembling.

And then there was the necklace, a thin silver coloured chain sat at the base of Remus’s throat, at the end of each line was a halfmoon. It looked innocent enough—until Sirius wrapped the end around his fist and gave a gentle tug, then the chain would tighten just enough to make Remus’s breath hitch, a perfect, controlled pressure that sent sparks down his spine straight to his cock.

“Beautiful,” Sirius said softly, his voice low and warm. He was lounging on the sofa in nothing but low-slung trousers, dark eyes fixed on Remus like he was the only thing in the room. “Look at you, love… My sweet, desperate boy in his pretty lace. You love this, don’t you?"

James’s camera clicked again. “Fuck, yes. Tilt your head just a bit—there. Sirius, pull the leash a little tighter? Not too much. I want to capture how his eyes go all glassy.”

The Sweater and the Monster

Sirius had been watching him for the last twenty minutes, sprawled across the opposite end of the sofa like a cat who’d claimed the entire territory. Four months, sixteen days, and twelve hours. That was how long they’d been official.

And still, nothing. Just kissing—long, slow, toe-curling kissing that left Sirius aching and restless every single night.He was done being patient.

“Moony.” Remus hummed without looking up. “Put the book down.”

A faint crease appeared between Remus’s brows. “...I’m in the middle of a chapter.”

“You’ve read all the poems in that a thousand times… You’re stalling this.”

Remus’s ears went pink. He closed the book but kept it in his lap like a shield.Sirius sat up, knees sinking into the cushions as he crawled closer.

“Every time things start heading anywhere interesting, you find a sudden urgent need to make tea, or check the wards, or reread the same bloody paragraph until I give up and go wank in the shower.”Remus’s flush deepened, spreading down his neck. “Sirius—”

“No.” Sirius reached out and tugged the book away, marking his place and setting it on the coffee table. “We live together… We’re alone, no one’s going to walk in on us. And I’m dying here, Moony. Four months. Sixteen days. Twelve hours. I’ve been good. I’ve been so fucking good. But I want more than just kissing even if that is fucking fantastic...”

Remus swallowed hard. His hands twisted in the hem of his jumper, pulling it lower over his thighs. “It’s… not that simple.”

“It is that simple,” Sirius said softly, shifting until he was straddling Remus’s lap. He kept his weight light, his palms resting on Remus’s shoulders. “I want you... I don’t care what you think is wrong with you. I just want you.”
