Can you keep a secret?
a playlist inspired by the ravenhood series
Hi! I read The ravenhood series by Kate Stewart last year and I couldn't seem to get the story or the characters out of my head, so of course I had to make a playlist. Hopefully some of you guys get to enjoy it <3

you are my torrential downpour
of inescapable longings
your words play upon my lips
coating my throat
dancing through me dirty
spinning wildfire through my veins
skin warm and aching
each fiery pulse throbbing in those very places
which has already claimed you.
breath too heavy to catch
hot-cold-fast-slow
consumption of primal engulfing tenderness
parched escaped moans
bite marks on flesh
raw-tangled-swollen
bones splintering from the weight of blood rushing.
heaviness unraveled -light
stars bursting
unwound -unbound
exhaustion exerted
not a damn thing left,
but your name dripping off my tongue

āItās always been fascinating to me how things can be simultaneously true and false, how people can be good and bad all in one, how someone can love you in a way that is beautifully selfless while serving themselves ruthlessly.ā
A super special June TBR with some Queer books I'm looking forward to reading this month!
On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong
How It All Blew Up by Arvin Ahmadi
The Lucky List by Rachael Lippincott
The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern
Gostaria que VocĆŖ Estivesse Aqui by Fernando Scheller
Perfect On Paper by Sophia Gonzalez
Less by Andrew Sean Greer
Are you guys reading any Queer books for Pride Month? š
This book swallowed me whole.
Some books make you smile.
Some books make you cry.
Some books change the way you look at everything.
But some books pick you up and yeet your ass to the sixth dimension.

hereās my take on #artofannotating š¤ if you ever have any questions on my annotations, feel free to have a read! :) . do you write directly on the page? - absolutely! the larger the margins (and space) the better š„°
do you annotate all your books? - i try to, but it depends! if i donāt feel like making any comments (for whatever reason ā it could be because i donāt find the need to interact with the story), then i wonāt annotate it
why do you annotate? - because it makes me connect with the story and characters better āŗļø it also allows me to underline phrases that i can go back to in the future. plus i feel more in touch with the author and what theyāre trying to write about as well!
what tabs do you use? - studymate tabs! theyāre only available in australia sadly :(
what pens do you use? - @artlineau ballpoint and fineliner pens! ⨠. love this tag so much! iām so glad that annotating is becoming a bigger thing here in the #bookstagram community š«¶š¼ https://www.instagram.com/p/CeLvxTVP492/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
