It's finally here! My pre-order from bookdepository is finally here, I'm so psyched! Unfortunately I have work for the next 5 days, at least 7 hours per day so I'm not sure when I'd be able to read it 😩

Current read: This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab. I'm really enjoying it so far, but I'm taking my time with it - I've been in a semi-reading slump for months so I'm not rushing every time I'm reading. __ Empire of Storms is coming out soon! I should be getting my pre-order in the mail sometime next week too. I'm so excited!

I'm so excited! Book depository sent me an email this morning saying that my pre-order of Empire of Storms was shipped early! Aaaahhhh it should take just a little over a week to get here. I'm so hyped up! Although, I heard there was a massive spoiler circulating the net yesterday and apparently it's really major. I heard some people are upset over the spoiler itself, not because there is a spoiler. I'm really worried. So now, I'm worried and excited at the same time.

Okay I know I said I'd read this like 4 times before but I swear i'd read it now. I would not read anything else unless I finish this. I want to finish it before I see the movie or see the trailer even, yes I haven't seen the trailer. Okay here we go. __ Been busy with work lately, sorry I haven't been active but thanks for sticking with me. I plan to be as active as I was before :)

I bought Black by Fleur Ferris yesterday because I was intrigued by those three sentences above the title 😁 I also own a proof of Ferris' first book, Risk, which I never got around to reading but I will. I'd really like to read Black first though. __ Still in a reading slump. I only read 2 books in June, and none so far in July. I'm hoping to turn things around pretty soon though.

Books received in the mail today: The Martian which I have read before in ebook format so I decided to get it in hardcover + Wildfire from the author @claire.louise_ thank you! __ Sorry I haven't been posting much. My copy of The Wrath and The Dawn has arrived! It's so pretty + it has those textured edges. I'm so excited to read this! __ I'm still not over the season finale of Game of Thrones and I don't think I will be for a while. Now my head is just swimming with possible scenarios for the next season which is a whopping 10 months away 😭 how will I ever survive 10 months without GoT?! Guess I'll have to re-watch the previous seasons and re-read the books 😁

My most favourite standalone fantasies: Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern and Uprooted by Naomi Novik. I absolutely adore these two 😍❤️ __ I just got home fro Supanova and I had a blast! I saw a few amazing cosplays, one of which is Groot and it looked really spectacular. I bought the Salazar Slythering Locket Horcrux, and four pop vinyls.

I just finished Queen of Shadows and I'm left wanting more - that's always the case when reading any of Sarah J Maas' work. __ Now I'm finally starting The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater.

I bought The Raven King the other week, now that the series is complete I can finally start reading it! I bought the first three a few months back but I decided to wait for the final book before I start it and now I'm glad I did because I don't have to wait long to read the next book 😁 __ Have you read this series? What are your thought on it? If not, is it on your TBR? :)

They all look so good! I still need The Assassin's Blade but I'm still pretty happy with these 😍❤️ __ My favourite out of these two series' is the A Court of Thorns and Roses + A Court of Mist and Fury, I wonder what the third book will be called - I can't wait for it to be released! __ I have my one day off tomorrow after working for 6 days, but after tomorrow I'll also be working for another 6 days. No complaining here though because I'm having fun at work + I need the money 😁

After waiting for-freaking-ever for this book, I finally have it in my hands! I started it on iBooks a couple of months ago but I decided to wait for my hardcover copy before finishing it so now I'm sort of hazy on what has happened so I just restarted reading it. __ There are a bunch of new characters introduced and I'm still trying to figure out how I'm liking them except for this one character who I've decided, straight off the bat, I love. I won't say who it is ;) I just hope her character is one of the good guys but if not, I still love him/her.

I bought The Last Star the other day bc it's the conclusion to The 5th Wave series. Now that I think about it though, I never finished The Infinite Sea - I stopped about a halfway in for some reason so I have to read it again before I start this one. Lemme tell you something annoying: my copy of The 5th Wave, The Infinite Sea and The Last Star are all different editions. My copy of The 5th Wave is the film tie-in edition (my only FTI), my copy of The Infinite Sea is the tradeback, and my copy of The Last Star is the normal paperback. Normally I won't stand for this and I'd buy it all in the same edition but I don't overly-love the series anyway so I don't care THAT much. 😁

Good news! I now have Heir of Fire in hardcover, which (sorta) completes my set! After 2 months of waiting for it, it's finally here yay!

My shelves are starting to bend 😂😂 except the middle one because that's the only one nailed to the back, which is why my heavy hardcovers are on it. __ I've been having a really good week at work; I hope this continues. How's your week? :)
