🕶️ [Gems in Wonderland]
Not all the corrupted Gems became ravening beasts. Some adapted to their trauma in other ways, as Garnet and Steven discover after following Cat Steven down a mysterious hole in the woods and discovering a pocket of damaged Gems that were missed by previous search parties.
While not quite fully Corrupted, each has adapted to the trauma of the Diamond's attack in troubling ways.
An unknown number of Homeworld Gems have fused with one another deep underground, not into a greater being, but into a fractured, living labyrinth with their heart at the center.
Within this labyrinth the others dwell, each tethered to the greater fusion and its lotus eater dream by the long limbs of the Red Queen.
There's the Sapphire who erased all of her own painful memories to live as a princess in a blissful fairy tale.
The Pearl who hides everything but her smile.
The Quartz soldiers caught in a giant, endless game of chess.
And at the center of it all, the Red Queen herself-- a Spinel who had been along for morale. In a twisted way, she's still doing her job, acting as the beating heart of the labyrinth and holding them all within the comfort of a never ending fantasy.
🕶️ [Double Trouble]
Inspired by the journey that Steven took in his teenage years, Ruby and Sapphire decide to unfuse for a road-trip together, and ask for Steven's help.
Spending some time apart, but together is something they occasionally do. It's healthy. Sapphire has her classes, and Ruby has her scouts. But they've never done it for this long, and they've certainly never done it on a trip like this.
It promises to be interesting, especially with Steven helping them navigate the world and ways outside of Beach City's bubble. They've been traveling before, but rarely outside of the context of a mission or crisis.

When Steven destroyed the Glass of Time, the Sea Shrine flooded and locked itself for another hundred years. Or so the Crystal Gems had thought.
Steven's destruction of the hourglass all those years ago created a temporal ripple. It started slow, but its had almost a decade to grow, and now it's spread wide across the sea floor.
Garnet senses the disturbance in the fabric of time. Because Steven was the one who broke the glass, the nature of the problem demands that he also repair the damage, so he has to come with.
What results is a romp through What Ifs, past and future, and the potential fun, and potential heartache those might-have-beens might create.
🕶️[Stars Apart]
Steven is having relationship problems. His space pirate boyfriend won't pick up the phone, and his last message home was, 'Don't look for me'. Now Steven finds he can't even use his connection to reach him, and he's been hearing reports that Lars has been attacking peaceful colonies.
With Connie away on a delicate diplomatic mission and all but unreachable, Steven turns to the mom who is a literal walking relationship expert in the hopes that he can untangle this mystery and bring Lars home before it's too late.
Garnet's own future vision shows conflicting, confusing possibilities. In one future, Lars has turned into a ruthless overlord. Another shows him calling for help. The worst of them shows terrible fates she dares not share with Steven.
They track Lars, always one step behind, trying to piece together the mystery with each colony they encounter.
The truth turns out to be stranger than fiction. They will eventually find that Lars has plugged himself into a ship run by a Cluster like hivemind in an attempt to help them. He and the Off Colors have been enmeshed with the traumatized consciousness of this mini-Cluster and all their different personalities.
The Cluster has been forcing him to lash out at the colonies, re-enacting the past traumas and grudges of the different Gems. These shared memories also explain Garnet's own strange visions. For a moment he is a ruthless warlord, or a Gem experiencing their shattering.
