It appears that many places here use disappearing ink for their receipts…

Hmm where do I even start when it comes to sharing my experience in Borneo. Well I haven't left yet, so I'll start with now. And right now, I would like to go get breakfast but I need to go find where I put the key last night. I'm locked in until then! #Palangkaraya #Bulai #Travel
Camp Day
Today is my first day not following an orangutan since arriving here 5 days ago. It was so nice to sleep in. (woke up at 6:45 instead of 3:15) and to recover a bit from having dove right into orangutan follows - which (from leaving camp to returning to camp) take up 12-14hrs of the day. Today at camp I'm working on organizing the collection of Indonesian words that I have gathered over the last couple of days from the Indonesian assistants here and Shauhin. I also plan to set up my white box and photograph some of the awesome insects that I brought back from the forest over the last two days. I will try to post a couple photos of them if I can. I'm not sure how much of my phone credit it will use up!
It's raining, it's pouring, Saya suka nasi goreng.
- Rumaan Malhotra Inspired by our first rain in Indonesia and fried rice.
This is an Amata sp. Tiger Moth. There have been about 4 or 5 at any time on the walls of the common area of the house here in Palangkaraya. I really like their white tipped antennae.
