☀ Kaz stood in the doorway for a second and stared at him, one of her hands cradled in the other. Well, this was a surprise. Granted, she didn’t often come to the nurse’s office unless absolutely necessary, but she’d never actually run into another student here before.

“Uh… I’m Kasandri,” she answered awkwardly, peering around the room, “Is Recovery Girl around? I just need some bandages…”

“Fino,” he replied, glancing down at her hands. “She’s not here yet. Apparently there’s traffic.”

Still... that looked pretty nasty. Granted, he always looked pretty much the same, but he was used to it. This girl was obviously not. With a practice ease, he stood up and started going through one of the cabinet carefully. He set several types of bandages on the counter and turned back to her. “Give me your hand. What kind of burn was it?”

Fino looked up from his spot in one of the chairs in the nurse’s office. This in itself was pretty much a daily occurrence, but he hadn’t seen this person here before. He hadn’t spoken to many of the other frequent flyers, but he did at least know them by appearance. There was sort of a mutual bond of injury.

“Who are you?” he asked without explaining his thought process.
