Check out this cool way to make an acrylic LED sign.  If you don’t have a CNC machine, you can use a dremel or other tool to scratch your logo into the acrylic.

Glue different colors of wood together to create a diagonally striped turning blank, then make a candy cane looking ornament on the lathe.
