What episode is this season of the challenge currently on?
Tonight's episode is going to be the 5th.
me:
How do you recommend I start watching the challenge? From the beginning? Or do you favorite seasons I should start with?
I myself have not seen all the seasons. I only started watching from s19-until now. I have seen a couple of the older seasons which I find to be better than the most recent ones they’re coming out with. S19, 20, 21, 22, and 24 have been the better ones that I’ve seen. (IMO) If you have the time, watch a couple of the older ones.
TJ: This is the redemption house but should we call it the revenge house? Are you guys plotting your revenge right now? I wanna hear who you guys will be gunning for and why?
Found on FB and agree...
“MTV, I am DISGUSTED by your promotion of toxic, emotional abuse as a way of enticing/keeping viewers interested. A simple slip up, which i’m sure has been blown out of proportion by your sneaky editing, has caused a woman to be the target of humiliation, ridicule, and ABUSE. She’s tossed around on the aftershow like a ragdoll between the 4 men on stage as they’re all ripping her to pieces and blaming her, and it’s absolutely sickening to watch. Are you, as a company, and the people on this show overlooking the fact that Abram is a complete psychopath? The footage of him on rampages are supposed to be seen as entertaining, but it’s clear this man has severe anger issues and by the looks of that bloody nose, probably drug usage too that’s fueling the flame. It’s clear that Cara is the subject of psychological torture by this man and MTV is using that as the plot of a show that has turned from a physical challenge to psychological warfare. The second a man lays a hand on a woman on MTV he’s kicked off and MTV displays the message that domestic abuse is not tolerated. Emotional and psychological abuse, like that which Abram is exuding onto Cara, is equally, if not more harmful. I’m SICKENED that not only is there is no mention of non-tolerance for emotional abuse, but it’s actually being used as a plotline. I used to look forward to The Challenge, but I don’t think I will ever tune into anything MTV has to produce anymore. … It’s so clear there is something wrong between the two of them. On the episodes before Abram made an appearance Cara was so lively and animated but on the recent episodes she looks completely drained. There’s more to abuse than just physical things you can see”
I couldnt go to bed tonight with out getting this off my chest but also couldn’t sum up my thoughts better than the quote above, so to add on… The last scene with Cara and Jamie left me speechless… That 20 second scene showed so much more than that what meets the eye and I hope everyone understands that. It was like the key to what we’ve seen through Caras journey in the challenges. I study criminology and Abe is a mid to high factor sociopath, and, similarly, Cara shows clear signs of domestic abuse that anybody should be able to notice. I think Briana (I think that’s her name) said it best when she compared Abe to a pit bull. Although I know he truly loves Cara and what she did was less than honorable, there has to be more going on bts and I believe the scene between her and her cousin proved that. (And let’s be honest, what she did pales in comparison to other things that have occurred on the show.) She didn’t think the cameras even caught the conversation and she had to ask to make sure security was on standby in the after show! She. Is/Was. Terrified. The after show left me heartbroken and this entire situation leaves me with the overall hope that everyone, but specifically the cast members, opens their eyes and gives Cara a sincere apology. *cough cough - Wes, Johnny, Paula, etc* what did she ever do to deserve their hate in the first place?! It’s despicable! Her willingness to take emotional abuse throughout the past several seasons seems to be a result of what she may, or may not have, faced at home with Abram but also gives credit to how strong she is today. Mtv needs to take a long look at this and their policies as to what’s ok and what isn’t. I can’t say enough about this but I just hope she has moved past this nightmare and it doesn’t keep her from participating in the show in the future, although I wouldn’t blame her if it did…
