As someone who does not pay attention to lyrics in songs, I am always afraid someone who does pay attention is going to come along and see my music and be like “why are you listening to songs about kicking orphans and diverting funds from public libraries?” Like, I dunno! Teschers who say “only 60% of this class is going to pass” ok? I guess you’re very bad at your job then? Imagine a baker would say “only 60% of my bread can be eaten” or a carpenter says “60% of my furniture can be used” well? Your job is to TEACH, your job is to give the knowledge you have to other people. Yes, some people might not pass but you should try to teach it to them in the best way possible. Your goal should be to get the people through the class, to encourage them, not to give them anxiety and fear about you, your class and your exams.

I don't know who needs to hear this but mental disorders aren't "rare". They just are severely underdiagnosed by the stigma surrounding them.

You aren't faking, noone is faking. And denying someone's symptoms because it's somehow so rare or hard to accept is ableist, period.
