Who’s your Daddy || Au Week

Wanda and Pietro Maximoff were born to a normal family.  In a small city and they should have had a decent life but the world had other plans.  They were born during a time before Eric Lensherr had lost himself to the war for mutant superiority.  They believed their father to be a man known as Django Maximoff unknown to him his real name being Eric.   When they were six.  Their home was attacked and their entire apartment building collapsed.  The twins and his wife were presumed dead.  Eric consumed by revenge left wanting to create a world where mutants wouldn’t die at the ends of senseless human war.  He had no idea that during the collapse, the twins mutations were triggered and Wanda had saved the two of them. They were trapped for several days barely surviving.  When they were finally rescued, Pietro started running and brought Wanda with him.  The twins were petrified of what they were and lived on the outskirts of humanity.   When mutant fights became more common place, the twins made their way to the americas where they allied themselves with Charles Xavier.   Wanda enjoyed Xavier’s company and favored his advice second only to his brother.   When to two joined the Avengers Wanda found herself pregnant.  She knew she wasn’t a mother so she sent her two children of live with Charles knowing they’d be better off without her being a major constant in her lives.   Not being under Magneto’s influence.  Wanda didn’t cause House M universe or slaughter half the avengers team instead. Her brother took her away from the Avengers after the death of Billy and Tommy.  The twins became known as ghosts only their kids having seen them.  They’d show up in a battle when the world needed them  then vanishing before anyone could talk to them.

The last time they were seen before Vindex is when they attended the summit.  After Vindex was constructed.  The twins allied and for the first time in a long time they had settled down.

Main Points

Wanda isn’t as mentally unstable.

The twins do not know they are related to Magneto.

Wanda left Vision from guilt of failing to protect their kids.

Wanda doesn’t believe she’s worthy of being a parent, which is why she gave Nik and Charani to Charles for their safety.  

Wanda is generally more cheerful and social though she tends to ramble a bit more.

           “——-no, I didn’t not see Star Wars for the tenth time. There are other good movies too,” Tim totally just went to see Star Wars for the tenth time, he really had a problem.

“I thought you kids had enough syfy in your life, that you wouldn’t need the movies.”

     Scarlet stood in front of the professor’s office, rocking back and forth on her heels. She was nervous, anxious to meet the woman who agreed to help train her. All the other attempts had ended in failure, or with someone getting hurt. She didn’t want it to be the same way this time. 

     Alura was hovering around the door, an indication that the woman inside was genuine and had no malicious intentions. Scarlet smiled to herself. That was reassuring. Taking a deep breath, she knocked on the door, entering with permission. 

    The blonde giggled a bit at the moment of pandemonium which ensured as she entered, taking a seat across from the professor and returning the brunette’s sincere smile. 

     “Hiya! My name is Scarlet, it’s wonderful to meet you!” She extended her hand to the professor. “Thank you so much for agreeing to help me out.”

Wanda hadn’t really taken a mentee before that hadn’t been directly related to her in some way, but she was always willing to make an exemption.  When Scarlet stood their.  She eye’d the girl closely.

She seemed genuine, which was always good.  “No problem, we mutants have to stick together.” Wanda assured her, a belief she surprisingly learned from her birth father.  Mutants truly only knew what other mutants were going through.

“Would you mind showing me some of what you can do?” She asked unsure if the girl was up for it right now.  “Nothing major just some minor tricks you gathered along the way.”

{ Selina Kyle }:

“What do you teach?”

“Psychology.  You?”

{ Jacob Maximoff }:

“Yes I am sure.” Jacob said when the other asked if he was okay. “Just tired.” That was a lie. He had been slow to get ready and was only just slipping on his shirt. He was trying to push aside the fact he was beginning to feel unwell. But feeling tired was true, but okay not so much.

Wanda examined her nephew closely.  “You are a liar.” She stated simply furrowing her brow just a bit.  “Go back to your dorm, i’ll tell your teachers you can’t go to class today.”

{ Selina Kyle }:

“I feel like I’ve been grading these assignments for hours. I need to focus on something else for a while.” Selina looked up.

“How are things going with you?”

“Pretty good.  I just finished imputing the grades from my student’s last homework assignment.”

worst memory?

“The day I betrayed the avengers.  I didn’t know what I was doing, I just became so consumed with anger and frustration after losing William and Thomas..” Wanda explained, “I ended up losing so much more then my sons.” She didn’t like thinking back to those days, she still felt so much guilt.  The Avengers had become some of her best friends and allies and in one foul move she betrayed all their trust.

Wanda looked over the shield file on her desk. Kitty had given it to her personally and had asked for her help.  She wasn’t one to turn down a mutant in need, especially one that had powers similar to hers.  The girl had an interesting record already.   When she heard a knock at the door she called out.  “You can come in!” She yelled out  trying to organize several things on her desk to look more ‘teacherly.’  When the student walked in she gave the girl her warmest smile.
