Ok, I am just getting so much lazier with my photoshop. This was just 20 minutes. BUT I made it as a thought exercise.

"Are there enough black/brown characters in anime to make a compelling series on it's own?".

Without disappearing into a million side kicks, stereotypes, and hot chicks, I was surprised to find as many compelling ones as I did.

Plus I always wanted to make Casca the main protag on a Shonen series (as a kinda of reincarnated apologies for the raw deal she got in Berserk).

So Casca stays on an optimistic plot path thanks to her loyal friends Mohammed Avdol, Panninya, and Usopp. She gets training from Yoruichi in the ways of combat. Killer Bee goes from rival to best friend along the way.

Meanwhile, the villains or lead by Pucci who is planning to steal powers, souls, and corrupt a religion to try to rebuild heaven in his image. All the other villains fit some form of either following faith or losing faithing. So that became a surprisingly easy combo of functioning villains.

So, for Christmas and my One Piece friends, I decided to make body templates for characters. The idea is for friends to print them out and draw over them to create their original pirate crew. SURE, anyone can be any gender. So don't be shy about who looks like what. Bonus Points if they are Newkama under the pirate flag of Ivankov <3
