I may be the tiniest bit late with this. (Almost 3 weeks into 2016 already, can ya believe it?)
But here’s my own “Summary of Art” thing. c; 2015 was a pretty good year, I’d say. I started my Senior year of high school, made big strides with improving my artwork, made some great friends, and lost a few. I certainly had fun making art for you wonderful people (whenever I could, that is). All of you guys have made not only 2015, but the past few years, extremely fun for me. Thank you so much! <3
January: There was no way I could resist the charm of @stunnerpone‘s incredibly sexy OC, Hellen Lockheart. Fanart was only inevitable.
February: The same goes for Ms. Tender Love, @retroartcorner‘s lovely MILF pony OC who I just HAD to take a shot at drawing myself.
March: Cartoony antics ensue when Cherry Soda goes shopping and finds an all too familiar face invading her spot of the supermarket…
April: It’s not too often I draw canon characters from MLP: FIM, so it was pretty neat when I took my hand at drawing the character Starlight Glimmer from the first episode of Season 5.
May: A certain brand of dairy product really took the internet by storm when one of their ads featured an unintentionally “bootylicious”, udderless cow character. Many artists followed the trend of drawing this incredibly cute character, myself included.
June: A recent tragedy had struck my friend @stunnerpone around this time. To help soften the blow (mixed in with my personal desire to draw this character, resulting from her unbelievable level of cuteness), I took it up to draw his goblin character, Fluxbels.
July: I REALLY like @nsfwkevinsano‘s artwork, okay? Suffice to say, I went a little nuts.
August: Draw Jugglypuff? An extremely huggable OC of a beloved Pokemon? Pssh. Done.
September: Steven Universe is easily one of the best animated shows Cartoon Network has featured in years. I let myself get enveloped into it. Looks like the same obsession struck Cherry Soda, as she dressed herself and Cherry Creme Fudge as choice characters from the show. Creme wasn’t amused.
October: This was an idea that had been brewing for several months prior to Halloween. I was eager to finally get it out.
November: #BacklessDress was another of many tumblr fads to make rounds in 2015.
December: Style Emulation #Who even knows. This is actually a drawing that, as of posting this, is yet to be finished. For a while, I went on a bit of a Skullgirls hype (which I still find myself in from time to time). Perhaps I’ll bring myself to fully render it one of these days. My character Katerina D. (the one pictured) is not a Skullgirls OC. However, I did try my hand at putting her into the Skullgirls/Alex Ahad artstyle.
