Sorry if you don’t answer asks but I was wondering if you could explain riso printing? Your pieces using it looks so cool!

yesss i’d absolutely love to yap for a sec about riso printing!!

as a very simple explanation: it’s where you use specifically a risograph printer- they look like a photo copier but it functions more like screen printing- so if you wanted a 3 color print you would print one color at a time and each piece of paper would be run through the printer 3 times, each time adding a different color!

risograph has a very specific set of ink colors you are able to use so color options are more limited and due to how you load in the paper to print the colors will not always perfectly line up on every single one- and i love both of those things so much about it!!! especially with AI art and stuff being so prevalent i love that the nature of riso is imperfection and limitations 🧡

if you make art and have access to giving riso a try please do!! it’s so amazing and wonderful 🧡🧡🧡
