First blog of the year

One of my new years resolution is to be closer to God “more of God and less of me” is what I keep repeating to God. it is the 31st day of the first month and I can say that my prayer and fasting life has improved , compared to  2015. It is not by my grace but by the grace of God.

I pray a lot now about everything - my future, my future husband, my unborn children, my career and for my family friends.I am hoping soon I will be singing beautiful praises to God without echoing the songs on youtube lol. Psalm 47:6 says “Sing praises to God, sing praises; Sing praises to our King, sing praises”. I cant wait to start singing praises to God at random times of the day just like David did.

I pray God will give me the grace and the voice to sing my own songs to him :). I want to praise him whether happy or sad.

Psalm 59:16-17

But as for me, I shall sing of Your strength; Yes, I shall joyfully sing of Your loving kindness in the morning, For You have been my stronghold And a refuge in the day of my distress. O my strength, I will sing praises to You; For God is my stronghold, the God who shows me loving kindness.

This year 2016 I am burning for Jesus like never before. Are you? the bible says “ But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”.

With God nothing is impossible

All we need to do is rely and trust in our heavenly father. There are times that I look back and I realise nothing was done by my will but God's will. When I look back at the sad times, I realised a testimony came out of it. I realise that all the things I complained about God had his own plan and all I had to do was wait. God I thank you and I love you.

Meditate on his words day and night

When you read Gods word and meditate on it, the less sin you will commit.

Think about this, if you are about to sin and you are meditating on God’s word, that would allow you to overcome the devil, wont it? Rather most of us sin and then we remember God’s word and then start to feel guilty.

Remember this when Jesus was tempted he immediately quoted the scriptures back to the devil and the devil fled.

Bible verses to know how important God’s word is:

Joshua 1:8 -  the book of the law shall not depart from thy mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night: that you may be careful to do all that is written in it. for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success 

Psalm 119:11 -I have hidden your word in my heart that I may not sin against you

Luke 10:27- And the Lord answered “you shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength  and might, and love your neighbour as yourself

John 15:7 - If you abide in me, and my word abide in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be done for you

Identifying Who I Am

Revelation 17;17 For God has put a plan into their minds, a plan that will carry out his purposes 

 It has been a while since I blogged.

I have been procrastinating for a long time, but I felt like the holy spirit kept telling me to write.

I enjoy writing but I also dislike it sometimes as I do not know who I am writing it for or if there will be any spelling errors. However God has laid it on my heart to write and I will keep on writing till he reveals the purpose.

I have been told to write the minutes for a disciplinary meeting tomorrow and  I wish I could pull out of it but I know it was God that allowed my manager to pick me out of a team of 7 to do this.

Yesterday I went to a Christian Business Seminar with Audrey Linton thinking this seminar will give me tips on how to start my buying and selling business but I left there with the urge that writing is one of the key things that God wants me to work on.

I pray for anyone reading this that God will reveal your purpose on this earth and you will make use of the idea he gives to you. God gives humans ideas on how to start their own business but a lot of them die with the idea due to various reasons, I pray this will not be the case for you and I.

Occasionally I pray to God to give me ideas on what sort of business to start and he has given me different ideas and also told other people to confirm this. 

This ideas will be become big things.... Watch this Space ....

In 2013... This was the first gospel song on YouTube that made me really connect with God and since then my love for gospel has grown... Listening to this song this morning made me realise that even in our Christian life we also need a Continuous Development Plan: Where we are we with God, Where we want to be and how to achieve this. How can we worship him more? How can we pray more? How can we make him smile? How can we develop ourselves as Christians? A lot of us have been saved for years but we are still babies in Christ. It should get to a certain stage where that 10 minute prayer becomes 20 prayer, reading one chapter a day changes to two chapters a day etc. Fail to plan, plan to fail. Seek the lord diligently and he will reveal his secret to you 🙏🙏🙏🙏#happysunday #mothers #day #ChosenVessel

Why do we spend so little time with God?

Why do we give so much time to the world?

Why do we enjoy the things of the devil?

Why are we not waiting like the wise Virgins?

Why are we scared to evangelise?

Why are we quick to disobey God?

Why do we act like Jonah and ignore Gods's Word?

Why do we act like David and lust after the flesh?

Why do we act like Peter and deny God several  times?

These questions: Perfect Father: Imperfect Children

God's Word is clear that there is no excuse not to eagerly seek to depart from all forms of ungodliness in our lives...

2 Timothy 2:19, "He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us ."

Am I claiming to be perfect? Absolutely not! Am I striving to work on any areas that the Lord shows me in my life that needs to be worked on? Absolutely! Am I seeing results? YES!!!

Testimony

Few days after writing the post "BELIEVE" , I got a job wohhhooo.

I had the interview and the offer on the same day.

God is AWESOME....

When you quote his words back to him, he really listens.

Thank you GOD :)

I quit my JOB and three weeks after I got a better job for a better company :

BELIEVE

Believing in God

Believe:accepting that (something) is true, especially without proof.

Jeremiah 29v11 says God has great plans for me. I am at a stage where i am really hoping and waiting for something.

I took a leap of faith and quit my job, i have spent the last three weeks applying for jobs. it has been a stressful experience.

I am hoping and believing in God, that before the end of this month i will have a testimony.

I prayed and prayed before leaving my current role. Was it the right thing to do? People look at me and say you should have waited for a new job before leaving. The bible also says "Nothing is impossible with God" hence why i know that God will do the impossible and possible in my life. 

Writing this text has uplifted my spirit. I also pray for anyone that is reading this blog that God will also give you a testimony before the end of the month

But what I do have is good news, 

for my God knew that man-made words would never do. 

For words are just tools that we use to point to the truth.  

So he sent his son Jesus Christ as "The Word", living proof. 

He is the image of the invisible God, the first born of all creation. 

For by him all things are created.

No Words

I stumbled on Kari Jobe on Youtube. I am amazed most of her songs have over one millions view with uplifting comments. Woohho we still have a lot of Christian in this chaotic world, thank you baby Jesus.

 I found one of her song called "Forever" and began to listen to the amazing lyrics of how forever our God is glorified and lifted high. How our God died to save us. Lyrics of how our God overcame death. Our God cannot be defeated.  Powerful lyrics……. In the middle of the YouTube video, a man, Isaac Wimberley, shares a very powerful poem. When I heard him I had goosebumps all over.

I desperately wanted to know the exact words he spoke to keep for myself. I knew it would be difficult to try to write the words down, So I goggled the first line and found the poem.

If there are words for Him then I don't have them.  You see, my brain has not yet reached the point where it could form a thought that could adequately describe the greatness of my God,  and my lungs have not yet developed the ability to release a breath with enough agility to breathe out the greatness of his love,  and my voice, you see, my voice, is so inhibited, restrained by human limits that it's hard to even sing the praise of…

Healthy life + Spiritual life

As well as increasing my spiritual life my aim this year was to start a healthy life. From January I have lost 7KG from eating healthy and minimal exercise (need more exercise)
