The Vorcha behind the counter can barely contain his enthusiasm. “Well, technically it’s still considered a warcrime...but only to races and organizations that signed the Accords.” He rubs his claws together. “But you know, Cerberus and the Reapers were never part of the Accords.”

@thecitadelsquad “Kent, its been a long time.” Shepard said with a smile as she opened the door for the elcor, “How have you been?”

The elcor looks over the Commander’s body, humming happily. “Truthfully, I had worried that you had forgotten about me. With great joy, it is good to realize that is not the case.” 

Kent takes a step forward and starts nuzzling with her, allowing his biotic energy to fade so they can touch, skin to skin once again.

“Aww, Kent.” Shepard replied, cuddling his face, “I missed you a lot.” She assured. “I have just been so busy with trying to save the galaxy and all.” She sighed, “I’m glad to see that you’re okay. After the coup on the citadel I…feared the worst.”

“With no small amount of bragging, my squad held off Cerberus forces for four hours in Tayseri Ward, until reinforcements arrived.” His whole body vibrates with happiness as he rests in her arms.

Shepard chuckled, continuing to pet him, “I’m so glad to hear that. By the time I got here, the place was a mess.” She replied. “I’m glad that you have ways of degrading yourself.” She smiled, then sighed again, “I just just that you could come with me.”

“Forlornly, though the Normandy is state of the art, it is not big enough to support an Elcor. With more sadness, nor are your quarters. Hopefully, but you can always find me on the Citadel when our schedules coincide.”

Shepard sighed, feeling a little sad that there was no way for him to be on her ship. But she smiled warmly, “I will see you as much as I can, Kent.” She replied. “I promise.” She kissed his face, “I’m actually on shore leave right now so…we can do whatever you want.”

“With exhaustion, my latest mission has kept me awake for thirty hours so I lack the energy for much physical activity. Genuine request, can we walk the Presidium together?”

A Volunteer (rineshepard)

“Now, welcome to the stage. Please tell the people your name.” He gestures out to the audience, a grin hidden behind his faceplate as he draws out a deck of cards, still wrapped in the plastic.

“Tonight, we’re going to demonstrate something fairly simple. Quantum bilocation.” He hears the chuckles from the crowd. “I see some of you went to the Salarian Science Symposium. The rest of you can look it up when you get home.” He starts shuffling the cards as Rine faces the people.

Rine rolls her eyes as she groans internally before looking over at the quarian with a smallest hint of a smile. “Commander Shepard.” She sighs watching him begin to unwrap and shuffle the cards in the deck. 

She didn’t like being on the stage make her feel out in the open and vulnerable. She could only hope to keep an eye open, be ready to duck and reach for her hidden gun when she was fired on.

“Well, it’s an honor to have you, Commander. Now, please take this pen, and select a card.” He fans out the deck and offers it and the pen to her. “Once you pick a card, show it to the audience, memorize it and initial it with the pen. Then put it back anywhere in the deck.”

A Volunteer (rineshepard)

The quarian ascends to the stage, his robe fluttering. Both hands are filled with playing cards which turn into streamers and sparkles as he waves his hands.

“It’s a lovely crowd tonight, For my first trick of the night, I will need a volunteer. You there, ma’am!” He points to Rine. “Please come join me on the stage!”

Rine couldn’t believe she had actually taken up the offer to go to the show with Joker. She found the whole idea of going to a magic show silly, but here she was attending the evening with her pilot and now being called up onto the stage. 

“You have got to be kidding me.” She mutters under her breath looking over at Joker with a glare ready to kill, he merely nudges her and though she protested she was on her feet and heading for the stage. 

“Never again.”

Valeria sighs and looks at the patient in front of her. “Still want to go with ‘I ran into a door?’ as the reason for your injury? I promise, I’m a medic. I don’t judge. But I need to know the real cause so I can treat you properly.”

Fred and Artisano stand outside their ice cream parlor, handing out fliers. “Hey there. We’re looking for a brave soul with a sweet tooth to try out our new flavor of ice cream. If you help us improve the flavor, we’ll let you name the flavor. Sound good?”

The krogan female stares at the shopkeeper with a disappointed look. “Two weeks ago, man! I ordered that part two weeks ago, and you promised me you’d have it within two days. Now, either give me the mini-chainsaw I paid for, or give me a refund.”

Her arm flails out to one side, hitting the person in the other line. “Oh, I’m so sorry! That one’s on me.”
