It’s getting harder as the weeks gone by... Days are getting longer but the year 2020 is almost half gone. Say whud?! I wouldn’t have notice it as most of us spent our days going through the motion of work, studies, relationships, meals, exercise, travelling, social gatherings... hmm basically, life?
The whole circuit breaker seemed to ‘zoom’ certain things into perspectives. HAHA get the pun?
Suddenly it was like the world was forced to quieten down and started relooking at what we are thinking, doing to the world, community, family and friends. What are some values, beliefs, perspectives that we are holding onto?
Logically, factually, everyone would look at covid19 was a disruptor to businesses, the big thriving economy, the career ladder that you were going to climb, the travel plans you were planning in 2020, the big milestones that anyone would like to like to attain in life. It literally halted all the plans. Okay alright, some events got postponed and we can try again.
To be very honest, it brought a real pause to my life. It made me gained some real cooking skills, some efficiency to housework chores. Seems like I was playing Sims and levelling up quite fast.
However, what stood out for me. In some way, I am glad the world took a break. Although movement is life, I felt it was important to pause, think and move forward. Like a restart button in a game play.
Hope everyone is keeping safe! Missing some social actions but to be honest, as an introvert, I am still coping alright.
