My full piece for Tales of Hero, a heroaca RPG AU zine hosted by rollround on twitter. 

I really loved making this one! Rather than strictly sticking to a JRPG look, I opted to incorporate elements from Western fantasy storybooks and medieval tapestries.

Missed Connections - a comic about losing the relationships that could have been.

There are so many times when I’ve met someone new and I think, oh, this could end up being a cool friendship. It may be a first-time meeting, or a brief period. And then for whatever reason I never see them again. Or the alternate scenario, when things don’t work out, either because I was so quiet and reserved (usually am), being too slow to keep up or, had fallen into the trap of anxiety. It’s a sinking feeling, knowing that if things were different, the spark that I’ve felt could have become something. Instead I might have lost someone who may be very important in my life. Now they are gone.

But maybe, I don’t know, maybe things just aren’t meant to be. There are still billions of people in the world, and billions of chances. While I may have lost someone important, they are others in the world for me, and others who will find me too, one day.
