Replayed this section so I could get screenshots of Luis in the vest! I had also corrected my game brightness after it factory-reset its settings (unbeknownst to me, so the game was much darker than it should have been). As a result, you can see the scar on his left cheek much better. Also! His ENTIRE scar is visible, both endpoints of it! Gnarly! I love him...

These were some of my favorite expressions out of all the screenshots I got this time around.

EDIT: forgot to mention but you can see the chest scar basically all the time now. Look at pic # 5

“How are you feeling?” Luis asks in a low voice when they’re alone. “Ready to be America’s hero again?”

"Like a million bucks," Leon mutters. "You're joking, right?"

His tail lashes, longer and spikier than it was five minutes ago, reacting to his tension and agitation.

Leon would be lucky if they didn't shoot him on sight based on an assumption that he was compromised. Maybe he'd live long enough to be dissected in a lab later...

"Look at me," he hisses. "I'm a monster."

His body is unstable, the mutations rippling to the surface without warning, never completely reverting. It seems to be an unconscious response to his emotions, a defense mechanism he can't control. Sure, Luis still has wings and teeth a bit sharper than one might consider normal. And Luis's claws seemed more like hard, sharp nails- perfectly able to trim down, unlike his own. Ashley could pass as a completely normal girl, now.

Leon would be lucky if he got into the evac chopper in anything less than a body-bag, filled with lead.

Luis flinches.

Every signal Leon' body can possibly send is saying don’t touch me don’t touch me I’ll hurt you if you touch me.

“I’m looking,” Luis says. “All I see is you, Leon.”

There is a monster in this room, but it isn't you, Sancho.

Leonzilla AU

This is how Luis is alive in this AU by the way. After Krauser killed him, He woke up in a an egg years later as a baby Mothra pupa...worm thing. Needless to say he was utterly confused, but he made it work, and after a few months he was able to craft a cocoon and finally mature into his adult moth form.

Since Mothra is kinda magical, Luis is able to make himself human again, and while at the local pub he looks up at the TV, only to see a a clip of Leonzilla playing on loop. The spit-take he does when he notices that familiar blond bob on the giant lizard's head is quite impressive, cleared nearly half the room to be honest.

He ignores the confused looks of the patrons before grabbing his coat and rushing out the door, he knew immediately where he needed to go. Apparently there was some WEIRD shit happening in America right now and for some insane reason, Leon was involved.
