On Tuesday, actor Kal Penn tweeted out a series of snapshots from scripts that he’d auditioned for in the past, most of which included racist caricatures of South Asian culture.

Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Act: ‘Null and Void’

In a victory activists were unsure they’d get, Uganda’s Constitutional Court overturned the country’s draconian Anti-Homosexuality Act today, declaring the anti-LGBT law “null and void” because of a parliamentary technicality in how it was passed.  

The court determined that when members of Parliament passed the law in December 2013, Speaker Rebecca Kadaga had not established quorum — a required minimum number of members present to vote — effectively invalidating the law.

Ffs, what is ya'lls beef? Why is it everytime we do good it’s because of A,B, & C but when we do bad it’s because ya’ll are superior. Soooo, I have a fic prompt if anyone wants to tackle it...

Bon is having a tough time getting over her losses and isn’t meeting anyone who trips her trigger, but wants to have a baby to carry on the Bennett legacy, and Damon (now that he’s human) offers to help her out, and in the process fall in love…or probably saying “they realize they were already in love with each other, but just couldn’t admit it…‘cause Elena” would be a better way for it to come about. 

If anyone wants to write this, I, and a few other people who have said they totally want it, would be eternally grateful!
