Another Update

Sorry if you are getting tired of these, but I thought you should know that I finished writing up verses. Now I am going to make my blog look good and then tomorrow I will make the post of what threads I am dropping/ keeping of the ones that were in my drafts. And then I will actually move. (Note, if you want to continue the thread after I move and it’s still your turn currently, that is fine, just tag me in it and we can see if we want to continue.) So yeah, that is the plan as of now. And I can tell you, I am pretty excited about the new blog, so hopefully it will be fun.

Earthquake

Baelfire had never been inside of an earthquake before. It was scary. It was loud… it was like something he never hoped to ever experience in his life. All of a sudden the house was shaking and things were falling and his father was shoving him under a table to make sure they were safe. 

He hugged closer to his father, his head buried into his chest. Then it all stopped and things around them were silent.. .Earily silent. He lifted his head from his Papa’s chest, looking up at him. “I-I’m okay.. Yeah. Are you okay? You don’t sound- “ Then he saw it. his father’s leg and Bae’s eyes widened. “P-Papa! Your leg! We have to get you help!”

He was more than relieved to hear his son was okay. That had been his number one priority after all. Now he just had to figure out how bad he was. He looked down at his leg, wincing as he realized that his leg was probably trapped beneath all the rubble. Someone would have to come and dig him out most likely. At least he could still feel the pain. That had to be a good sign.

“I should be fine son,” he stated, wanting to keep Bae calm. Getting worried wasn’t going to be very helpful. Even if that was his current inclination. He had to keep them both calm. “But I’m not sure I can get my leg out from under here. We are going to need to get someone to help dig me out.” The more he talked, the more obvious it was that he was in pain. Which he hated, but he couldn’t control it. “Let’s see if my cell phone still works,” he said, shifting to try and pull it out of his pocket. Before crying out at the way his leg shifted under the rubble, causing a few rocks to be displaced and slide down further.

Update

My sister just helped me sort through my threads and cut down on them. I’ll make a post about that later. So basically now all I need is a verses page and a tagging system. And to make sure the new blog looks good and all. Hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow. Or that’s the plan. Taking a break for now.
