Reposting my Transgender symbol stylized like Garou glyphs I made for #TVOD 2021. There were a few shapes I could have chosen for the circle, but Luna is perfect. Luna is always who she truly is, no matter how she may present herself, no matter how anyone else sees her or casts a shadow over her. Hidden or bright, she exists.

Image ID and additional info: The Transgender symbol composed out of Werewolf: The Apocalypse glyphs. The main body of the shape is black, outlined in a gradient of the colors of the Transgender pride flag: blue, pink, white, pink, blue.

The symbol is more of a direct visual stylization rather than 'translating' the concepts into Glyph-speak like I would normally do, because I wanted them to be visually recognizable to people other than glyph nerds.

The glyph elements used are [Luna], [Gaia], [Claw], [Resilient emphatic], which were intentional design choices, but the symbol is not intended to be "read" like a typical glyph beyond that. i.e., the masculine symbol lacking [Gaia], or the feminine symbol lacking [Resilient] are not commentary; it's purely to mirror how the actual Transgender symbol appears <3

I was going to save (re)posting this here for Non-Binary People's Day, but then I remembered that's what reblogging is for, so here's the other half of my TVOD 2021 glyph stylizations:

Image ID and additional info: The Nonbinary symbol composed out of Werewolf: The Apocalypse glyphs. It has an outline in the the yellow, white, purple, and black of the non-binary flag colors with the symbol itself in black, and set on a grey background. The shape above the [Luna] circle is a reference to the "asterisk" shape that crowns the circle in the Nonbinary gender symbol. I used the [shining] shapes seen in [Celestial Incarnae] for it, with the vertical [claw] stroke being a sort of pathway up into the shining galaxy of the countless ways gender can be expressed. Also because if I can layer some kind of space reference in, I usually will, but also galaxy and space terms are so common for gender stuff anyway. Also also since gender symbols in general tend to echo planetary symbols already. Like my glyph-stylized Transgender symbol, this is not meant to be a translation so much as a different "font" of the Nonbinary symbol.

Getting my website updated with the latest new glyphs is reminding me how much I need to get off a google site and rebuild the entire thing on another platform, which I am looking forward to being done, but not doing, especially since each other place I'd been considering is also going full ai

I have a draft rebuild in Notion (which is also ai drenched but at least I can avoid using the functions... for now), because database linking my beloved, but I keep thinking about the relationship web in Obsidian and how cool it would be to have glyphs that share shapes connected in that way as a browsing and learning reference hrnnngh

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions for better platforms (and/or) hosts that would be good for a dense image gallery style site (good rates on file storage+hosting?) that ALSO has database / indexing functions for someone who doesn't know how to do that by scratch anymore, please share your recs!

Free options are always best, but I know that's a tall ask with what I'm looking for, so instead: the cheaper the better, because I uhhhh don't really make any regular or appreciable money so any hosting fees have to be small enough that I can cover them from what people may send as support in a given year.

A custom glyph for Redemption, composed of 'Regeneration' inside of 'Honor' with a touch of shared shape implying 'Erebus' and 'Peace' from a 'Gaia' curve.

Get right with Gaia, which often involves penance and humility, but also moving through the discord within you to achieve that restoration.

oh no, it's Harano time! :')

A new custom glyph for Harano, composed from 'Suffering' + 'Lost' emphatic from 'Lost Cub' + 'Gaia' + 'Blood' or 'Tear' to denote that the source is the pain and grief of/for The Mother.

There is an implication of the shape of 'Friend/Ally' but it is distorted by the suffering (both theirs and Gaia's), and they are alone because of the isolation it creates within them.

'Lost' is a nod to Harano being something Garou have commonly stigmatized, when they acknowledge it at all, and whether or not the sufferer hides it (if they even can) the result tends to be the same until they can be helped back.

It could also be read as "my friend(and/or)creator is in pain and I cannot reach them".

New custom glyphs for 'The Gauntlet' and 'Reaching / Stepping Sideways'.

'The Gauntlet' is composed from 'Weaver' spread within the two halves of 'Umbra' + implications of rigid or curated boundary as seen in 'Park' (also to help further differentiate it from the glyph for CyberRealm).

'Reaching / Stepping Sideways' is composed of 'Travel' strewn between the two halves of 'Umbra'.

Time for some ✨new custom glyphs✨ starting with an alternate version of 'Klaive' and some relatives!

I wanted an alternate version of 'Klaive' because I never really vibed with the official one. I wanted something that more visually resembled the iconic klaive shape instead of the cross-hilt-sword.

Composed of 'Silver' + 'Honor' + emphatics used to denote respect seen in both honor and Silver Fang houses. The shapes have been exaggerated both to emphasize these concepts and also visually resemble the iconic klaive shape.

'Klaivaskar' (both the practice itself and a practitioner) adds the glyph for 'Artist / I am' wrapped around the "handle" of the shape. 'Klaive-smith' is denoted by adding 'build/join/put together'.

'Alpha klaive', the Silver Fang tribal klaive, includes 'Falcon' wings to denote leadership. (I greatly considered calling it zedakh klaive instead, so as to not tumble directly into the whole alpha topic, but ultimately I decided to leave it by the name it's actually searchable as for reference purposes, for anyone who might want to look up the item.)
