Fralice plot point
Your character: Alice Prewett – Fortescue
Character(s) plot is going to involve: Frank Longbottom and other aurorsÂ
Have you spoken to your RP partner(s) and anyone else who might need to know (i.e. the character’s significant other, sibling, etc.): Yaaass. Belle knows. and I mentioned it in the OOC auror chat.Â
Give us a short summary of the plot: Alice and Frank are on a mission for the auror office. Alice, as always is eager to please, and also kind of wants to impress Frank. Unfortunately, the mission goes wrong.
Despite Frank trying to protect her Alice ends up getting hurt. Although trying her best, Alice ends up on the nasty end of a few offensive spells, and ends up knocked out.
The result of this mission gone wrong is that Alice ends up with a week long stay at St Mungos whilst she recovers.
How would this plot change your character:
1) It would take her down a few pegs. Alice is very confident with her duelling skills, but clearly still has a lot of learn.
2) It’s going to make her consider her feelings towards Frank, and make her think about doing something about them. No more regrets!
3) Whilst in St Mungos only for a week, she’ll probably be off work for a further week, and then be on desk duty until a senior auror approves her back for field work. This will frustrate her, and she will hate it. But it will also help her develop as a better auror!
How would this plot change the character of your RP partner(s): (Belle wrote this bit) it will shock Frank into the reality that is the war they’re in. It will spur him on to fight even harder for the side he believes in, but it will also motivate him to make something of his life outside of work. He’ll have to work through his complicated feelings regarding Alice and past romantic trauma, but come out more open to love and more determined to make the world better.
How would (if at all) this plot change the overall plot of the RP: It would kind of change the dynamic in the auror office, especially if Frank and Alice do tackle their feelings for each other head on. In a more work way, Alice will be off work for at least a week, and when she does return to work she’ll likely be on desk duty, which she will hate!
