”Thank you,” Suzanna said sourly. She knew that Nicole didn’t like her much, and if she was being honest, the feeling was more than a little mutual. She raised her jaw in a way she hoped came across as uncaring and crossed her arms across her chest. ”It was lovely to meet you, anyway. Are you going to go talk to him?”
She rolled her eyes again, shrugging her shoulders and smiling down at the other girl. "No, he looks boring. I don't waste time on anyone too scared to even admit they're looking. You can have him if you want him." Nicole made sure to phrase it as if she was giving the girl something, hoping it would pluck at her nerves.
