Here's my extremely non-controversial tier list of Starter Pokemon lines.

The list was made by ranking each stage against its peers, then averaging the placements.

Necessary and sufficient

The christian family in these memes (which are absolutely all over facebook these days) genuinely do always look miserable. Who the fuck is relating to these stock mormon farm cultists. That is a couple who made love only once in pitch darkness with bags on their heads then celebrated the pregnancy with a feast of uncooked potatoes and warm tapwater. The baby seems intrigued though. Maybe only by the bottle of pills??

An extremely obscure detail in Super Mario RPG is that there is one inn in the game that allows Mario to stay even if he cannot pay for it, being the Seaside Town inn. Since it is encountered in the latter half of the game, it is unlikely Mario would not have the 15 coins to pay for it, and a player with no money left would likely simply rest at Mario's house for free instead.

This is the only inn that normally costs money that allows Mario to stay even if he cannot pay; the Rose Town and Monstro Town inns are free by default, while every other inn will not let him stay if he does not have enough money.

was showering at the gym when i heard an elderly woman call out "hello? is there anyone who can help me?" and i called back "hello, yes! do you have time for me to dry off and get dressed real quick or is this a nude-response emergency?" she paused long enough that i was about to just assume it was a nude-response emergency but finally she said, "no, no, it's fine you can get dressed!"

which would have been grand but then i realized i'd pass by her anyway on my way to the locker for my clothes, so it might not have been a nude-response emergency but it remained a nude-response situation nonetheless.
