“ Thoughts on the Michigan Quidditch team?
Better than the Michigan Football team
so do you guys actually fly or what
Matt Eveland does sometimes.
YES!!! :D
Thoughts on Glass City?
Rochester is looking really good with their new players, They are defiantly going to enter the swiss system underrated.
The University of Michigan just solidified their standing as one of the premier teams in the midwest.
MSU Not their best but not their worst. They didn’t slip up against any bad teams but they also struggled to stay in range against the top teams.BMQC- They lost to CMU when they were up 20 quaffel points so we will see how they adjust their snitch on pitch game. Besides that they looked a lot more organized then they had before and they are beginning to have close to a full roster. If they can bring close to a full squad to World Cup then they will be a major threat.
Marquette This team should be at World Cup. I’m sure every enjoys seeing ISU get their chance but marquette is simply the better team that is losing their chance to go because of the location of the tournament. Hopefully, and we predict, the leaders of Marquette will take command and make a statement next year.
CMU- There was a bit of controversy over their early exit, they drew an easy OSU team but they still struggled because Chris Barnard was on the OSU team for that game. This is something the TD’s shouldn’t have allowed to happen. A player was on two different teams and had a huge impact on both of those teams. Also OSU got obliterated by MSU later that day, if CMU had been in that game it would have been a better area to judge both teams performance.
Bro… Barnard was not on BMQC’s roster all weekend, and did not play for us this weekend. He played for OSU because OSU was an unofficial team at the tournament. Check your facts before posting.

We did not get blown out by MSU. That was a forfeit you cow.
Serious question, answer it: Are you Matthew Eveland?
Yes.
In these weeks leading up to World Cup we’re going to be doing some #tbt s of our team. First up is Matt Eveland!
Jeremy Boettner
How do even I begin to explain Jeremy Boettner? Jeremy Boettner is flawless. He has two personal trainers and a Peterson’s broom. I hear his right arm’s insured for $10,000. I hear he does Game of War commercials… in Japan. His favorite movie is Mean Girls. One time he met Alex Benepe on a plane And he told him he was pretty. One time he punched Tobin Knight in the face… it was awesome.
reblog if you a lil chubby
on a scale of 10 to hella, how fire was the red team last weekend tho?
Hella fire
2014 was a pretty good year for OSU Quidditch.
A little something to help you through finals week
Our annual Yule Ball is a little over two months away! For those of you who don’t know, Yule Ball is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it will help to fund our trip to World Cup VIII in the spring! Everyone is welcome, so save the date and start practicing your dance moves!

Mid Michigan Melee review?
A few other blogs have done reviews so I’ll keep this brief and about the top four teams.
Michigan State still plays a super fast game which works well because of Jacob Heppe. Take away Heppe and they do not have a tremendous amount of folks that can score. Their beating game also seems like it switches on the fly which kept teams guessing. Jim Richert leads that line well. The team as a whole just looks like they need a few more strong ball carriers.
Which brings me to CMU. Brandon Booth is a solid athlete and without him playing beater most of the day, this team would not have had a defense. Unfortunately, CMU also needs Booth playing all the other positions as well. Prueter is a fantastic keeper but even the best athletes need a break once in a while. Same with Wilber. I think with time, the beater chemistry will slowly form, but right now, they lack experience. I do commend this team for being able to rally against Blue Mountain though. Props to the captains for not letting the game get out of hand and bringing home the win. And Wilber making a leaping snitch grab for the win was a sight to see!
Blue Mountain. Plain and simple lacks depth and that seems to be a theme with them. They have a strong, well rounded lineup, but eventually those stars need subs and that is where the talent starts to drop. Luke Changet and Ashley Calhoun were as great as you could expect. But they couldn’t stay in the whole game together. Obviously they were up on OSU when the snitch was caught so that says a lot about where this team is going. They are impressive. But they need a full roster.
Ohio State. Won the tournament with 13 players. Starting keeper David Hoops did not play in the finals and beater Julie Fritz was forced into the chaser position for a bit due to lack of females. Take that result how you will.
I guarantee other folks will have better reviews than this. Thanks to CMU for running an awesome tournament and we’ll see you guys next week at Miami’s Phoenix Cup!
Highlight of my life. I learned everything I know about beating from Luke Changet.

Derry and Campbell and Staup are the best beaters. Period.
I would put it as Campbell, Derry, and Staup because that is alphabetically correct.
when people want the beaters to beat the chasers and the seekers and the other beaters too
Hahaha so true!
