Just walked by the other day and noticed whom moved into the neighborhood...
A Seattle Merry Christmas from The Daughters of Bristol…favorite gifts - Johnny Marr autobiography "Set The Boy Free", a classic album by Public Enemy "Fear Of A Black Planet", and Trumpet for all those up coming new records...
Echo & The Bunnymen played tonight in Seattle at The Moore...great show and Ian's voice still is top notch...
Yes, Iggy Pop visited us in Seattle...going in now to see the show...
Getting ready for the democratic caucus this weekend...so bringing home my friend Bernie...
It was raining in Seattle until the Bern cleared it up...Bernie Sanders that is...
Found myself in Olympia, WA this weekend and stumbled across "Burial Grounds Coffee." I quickly recalled hearing about this place awhile back as the quintessential goth coffee shop. Baristas and patrons draped in black (check), Lou Reed's song Vicious from the Transformer album playing on the stereo, close enough I guess (check) and lastly some great tasting coffee and tea with fitting names like Rasputin Rising and Banshee (check). So if you are ever in Olympia, WA for a show or visiting Governor Inslee, it's worth stopping by for a drink with the undead...http://burialgroundscoffee.com
Usually I find throw up at the bus stop, this morning it's a vinyl records...maybe KEXP needs one of these...good morning Seattle!
Thank you David Robert Jones...RIP

Was able to get my hands on some free Duran Duran tickets tonight...not at all the biggest fan but how could I resist...they put on a solid show and reminded me of the days when MTV would play music...good thing I brought my VHS recorder to capture this moment before I die...
A nice end to a Sunday evening in Seattle...was able to catch the Iggy & The Stooges cover band Raw Power on top of Pike Place Market tonight...It was actually a pretty solid show put on by KEXP and featured members from Guns N' Roses, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney, and Screaming Trees...
Some guy named Morrissey showed up and played tonight at Benaroya Hall here in Seattle...I went and I wasn't disappointed at all...
