Hey everyone, I would like to first and foremost apologise for the next chapter of The Demon Bond II not being up yet. I had intended the update to be... well, too long ago. 💀 I would like to assure you the story has NOT been abandoned. I am working on it, it's just extremely slow progress for one main reason: my health. Second reason: university. 💀 Recently my health has majorly deteriorated. I've been to the hospital and seen doctors too many times in the past few months, had all sorts of tests, for a long term issue that's gotten worse. However, I am okay, me and my doctors are working on getting me better. It's just going to be a long process, and as a result, the story has suffered. But not to worry, I love this story SO MUCH and I am 100% dedicated to it, and I hope you will all stand by me, and continue waiting patiently for the next update as you have all amazingly done so far. 💀 Thank you all for your support <3 I have a lot of comments on the story to answer, so I will be going over those soon a few at a time. ^_^ https://www.instagram.com/p/ByvowQ7lkO0/?igshid=up4162nsc0b6

So due to many reasons, my worsened health being one of them, the chapter isn’t up yet. BUT, I have just finished writing it, and so it will be released in the next 20 hours, after I edit through it briefly after some much needed sleep.

Also, we’ve reached 2000 kudos on The Demon Bond. I just... it’s unimaginable to me when I didn’t think I would get close to 100 ahaha To know so many people are enjoying the universe makes me really happy, and makes soldiering through these rough times all the more worth it. And all of your comments are so sweet, and rest assured, I read every single one, despite my replies often being slow ahah I’ll do something to celebrate 2000 kudos once my health improves. :)

Note: Thank you all for being so patient with me!! But here is the chapter at last, quite an important one too! At the moment, my health has gotten worse, and university isn't helping matters. So as far as an update schedule goes... I'm saddened to say it's probably going to move permanently from the normal 2 week schedule to about every 3 weeks. It's not what I want, but unfortunately it's just more realistic. :( But I hope you all continue to enjoy the story a lot, thank you for your support. The Demon Bond II: Update Delayed

So the lack of chapter 15 being online is probably a pretty big hint that the update has been delayed far longer than I had intended... I had wanted to make good headway with the story while I had a week off, though instead of being able to do that, I ended up being not very well for the entire week, and I wasn’t well for the majority of last week either. Such is life. But as a consequence, the story has suffered and updates are going to lack. Honestly, the current two week schedule will probably have to be scrapped altogether, for it’s just not realistic anymore with the combined annoyances of uni work and my health.

However, the chapter is almost finished! In fact, I expect to be able to post it within the next few days! *Fingers crossed* But as an apology for the wait, and maybe as a bit of a teaser ahaha, here’s a preview of the very NSFW upcoming chapter.

The Demon Bond Design Competition: RESULTS

Honestly I loved the entries so much (go back 6/7 posts to view them) so it was really hard to decide, and because I thought they were both too great to not be written into the story, that’s why I chose to write them both in. But to still keep this supposed competition element, that’s why there will be a difference in the length (not necessarily depth...) of the scenes each character will have. So I do hope that’s okay with everyone.

The appearances will occur in two separate chapters, the details of which I have begun to plan out and pick at. Should be fun! Participants, as I come to write these scenes, I may or may not get in contact with you for extra details if needed. :)

Also, we are so so close to The Demon Bond having 2000 kudos?! How surreal is that! Thank you all so, so much! <3

Two Year Anniversary Design Competition: CLOSED

Thank you so much to those who entered, I love the designs so much and I am really grateful that you decided to enter. I would also like to say a thank you to those who have made fanart for the story over the years. And, to all of you who have taken the time from your lives to read The Demon Bond! Your support has meant so much to me that I couldn’t possibly begin to express just how much. So, a huge thank you to you all!!

How the winning entry will be chosen: it’s too hard for me to decide myself, so I’ve given it some thought, and I will be getting my flatmates to help me to decide. Nonetheless, considering that there weren’t a huge amount of entries as expected (but also, it’s a good thing, because what I will say next wouldn’t really work otherwise) that means that both wonderful entries will get a part in the story, but will get different lengths of appearance. This will become more clear when these chapters are actually released, so I hope you all look forward to it.

Winner will be announced: Sunday 13th January.

2nd place: brief appearance/meeting with Steve and Bucky.

1st place: longer appearance, more involved part in a scene with Steve and Bucky.

Note: Next update for the sequel will be tomorrow, 8th January!
