Apparently for The Youths right now the word “goon” and its variations means masturbation? Gooning, gooned, etc.

Someone posted on the local subreddit about a custom license plate that says “gooner” and made a joke about the person being filthy.

The comments are split between older people who says it refers to hockey (the tough guy who fights on a hockey team is the goon, I guess) and younger people who thinks it’s referencing masturbation.

Language is fascinating, because to me someone being a goon is that they are being dumb or ridiculous about something.

What else with the kids make dirty LOL

While I'm sadly aware of the more modern usage, if I saw a car in a parking lot with this plate I'd have thought "Cool, another Arsenal supporter!" And then been really disappointed upon approaching their car.

I never did post photos from our last day in London, last Monday, and I suppose I will. But I’ve got good reason.

I came home with shingles and then was admitted to the hospital for 48 hours this weekend.

Now I’m trying to figure out why the doctors there say that they sent a prescription that I need upon my discharge but my pharmacy doesn’t have it, and I’ve spent hours on the phone trying to track it down, so that’s been fun.

Emirates Stadium tour

Highly recommend if this is your thing. I’ve never done any team’s stadium tour ever but this had lots of access (Director’s box, player locker rooms, edge of the pitch) and the staff there were amazing; one of them recommended the pub we went to after to watch football.
