Anyone who knows me knows I have a bit of an obsession with art. If I could afford it, I'd have the likes of Picasso, Matisse, and, my ancestor, Edward Hopper adorn my walls. Luckily, now anyone can afford beautiful art because of websites like The Poster Club and Minted.

art deco is everywhere right now. luckily, you don't have to scour 1stdibs to find those coveted art deco pieces. you can easily get the look at west elm, cb2, and even target. mix the real vintage classics with a few finds from more affordable stores, and you've got a living room to envy.

refined living rooms

refinement: cultured elegance in behavior or manner; the improvement or clarification of something by the making of small changes. 

by removing the unnecessary and refining the details, a space can transform into a deliberate piece of art rather than a culmination of random objects. 

these pared-down living spaces are perfect examples of refinement.
