if u dont know tad and I expect quite a few of you wont, the lyric this art is based on is from an anti-war song that shows the futility of love in a time of conflict... or atkeast thats how i see it but im quite bad at acc reading songs correctly
I think this works well for lockstock because ultimately everything they had and did was futile
Rovers love for Susie and theyre reuniting didnt bring hope for be still died without her, and he died not as himself
Carlos's religion couldn't save him and infact it became his downfall
Maureen didnt have closure, and infact, whilst she finished her list, killing cheeky was no longer a goal of hers
Cheeky never got that sense of family back from the people he thought he belonged with
And Pete, whilst, in a way he got his freedom, it was pointless as it couldn't be enjoyed
And in the end, they were 4 people, who didnt belong together, who gave their lives to try prevent disaster, and they likely will be forgotton
Because people like them were never to be seen as special
