Most of these questions can be answered here, an independent ask/rp blog dedicated to a fun AU where Greed The Avaricious is a pirate captain and his chimeras are the incredible crew members. It's sure to be a thrilling time here, whether you're just wondering why and how the nest became pirates, or if you are a nest member yourself!

This is probably going to be more lighthearted/comedic AU in general (in fact I'd like this to not be super serious for the most part) but if we eventually find ourselves having an actual plot that's okay!
Asks will mostly be assumed to be directed at Greed but I may... also have Roa show up sometimes too
I'd like to preferably keep rp interaction with only fma characters (manga, 03, brotherhood)
That being said fma ocs are definitely allowed to interact!

While flirting with Greed is fine, just know that romantically it won't be reciprocated and that this won't be a romance-focused blog at all
Fellow adults can be mildly suggestive (and of course I'll tag such interactions) but idk if I'm comfortable with full on erotic rp so let's not
Minors are absolutely not allowed to send nsfw asks (which means no horny anons either) or do any kind of sexual roleplaying
No shipping involving/romanticizing pedophilia/incest/sexual assault, that will not only be off limits it will get you insta-blocked

Hi! You can call me Neon, Hyacinth, or just The Mod as I'm the only one running this blog lol. I use it/its/itself, ze/hir/hirself, hey/hem/hemself pronouns. I'm an adult in my 20s so please keep that in mind especially when it comes to rp.
Time is a funky concept but I have run an ask blog before and I have a few years worth experience roleplaying on various platforms, but as a disclaimer this blog is entirely for me to be silly and relax so I'm going to do my best to not stress myself out unnecessarily.

Oh to be a pirate in the 1500s... To stay up late when everyone but the captain is asleep...To observe the stars and draw maps... To make quick sketches of the ship and of your captain while they look at the dark blue sea... To climb up the crow's nest and only see water, to follow the silver line that the moon has drawn with your eyes... To feel like you're on top of the world... to feel free.
"Captain Greed! Captain Greed! Off the port side! There's a cloud that looks just like a rabbit!"
Bido seems very excited about this as he yells down from the crow's nest. It's been a bit of a slow week.
Turning his head to the left, Greed peered up at the sky to look for what the Nest's lookout had described, eyes hidden by his circular shades. What did a rabbit look like again? He was pretty sure those had big ears...
"Oh, I see it! Nice find, Bido"
The captain shouted back to him with a grin, matching the other's enthusiasm. Better finding a cool shaped cloud than getting bad news. After a few more seconds of watching the cloud slowly drift on, he glanced over to the crow's nest with a softer, fond smile. No matter how boring things might get, he could count on Bido to keep everyone's spirits up.
(I should clarify that that any roles besides Greed are extremely up to interpretation for rp stuff, my posts about the crewmembers + the scourges are really more for the ask part of the blog)

"... Huh?"
He looked around for a moment, slightly puzzled at the phrasing of the statement. Was this stranger talking to someone else? Deciding not to confuse himself further, Greed returned his attention to the (well-intentioned?) insult against his hat as he pointed a finger up at it.
"Personally, I really like this old thing- fancy fabric and bright colors don't tend to be very durable out here. I like my possessions to last as long as they can without getting damaged beyond repair..."
Then again, maybe this person had a point. Perhaps at the next port he'd go shopping; a few extra hats couldn't hurt!

Not much is known of these creatures' origins, only that some have a penchant for sneaking aboard any ship that comes close, seemingly searching for something... or someone; while others have sunk entire vessels with no discretion. The titles below are merely speculation, taken from old myths and legends from a time when they were feared in the water and on land."
